Dan "Killer" Kennedy won tonight's Cheesesteak Bowl in Broomall, PA. He finished his two 24 inch sandwiches in 1:39 and 1:34 to take the title and claim the Cancun vacation first prize.

    Chiger competes for MLE . Boring Kennedy and his strange friends don’t. MLE is the pros . Everyone else is just a minor leaguer.

    I’ve met a lot of independent eaters and they always come across as lacking self esteem. Like there already beaten . They won’t sighn with MLE because they are insecure.

    Almost anyone that posts this nonsense; is clearly a non eater, or a low ranking never was. Almost ALL top eaters, MLE and Independent alike…..have mutual respect for each others ability and get along pretty well.

    Santel is a speed eater . He doesn’t do many eating competitions. Eating challenges is his thing . Same with Electric . These guys are comfortable doing challenges . Figuro never heard .
    Eating is weekend pastime . Most of us have day jobs during the week .

    I dislike Independent Competive Eaters from the US . I am fine with the eating youtube challengers that just do Restaurant eating challenges . Everyone knows the NBA was better then the ABA . Everyone knows the NFL is better then Arena / XFL / CFL . Everyone knows the NHL is better then the WHA / KHL . These Independent CE are yellow .

    Ok , Everyone here is the difference between MLE Pro Eaters & INDEPENDENT PRO Eaters . MLE Eaters are ONLY ALLOWED to compete in MLE sanctioned events they can not do any other speed eating contest besides MLE EVENTS. INDEPENDENT EATER are allowed to compete in ANY EATING CONTEST THEY WANT . Independent pros even do MLE events if they are not full with MLE PROS. Only reason a lot of eaters become MLE eaters is to do Nathan’s as you have to sign a MLE contract to compete in Nathan’s . Molly & Dan would be ranked in the TOP 5 in MLE if they wanted to compete in MLE but they prefer to be Independent Pros and there is nothing wrong with that . So if your a good person and you like CE enjoy everyone. !!
