Don Lerman reports he tied for first place with Will Millender in the burrito eating contest held today at two Baja Fresh locations in Manhattan.

    Let me clarify the situation:there was only one contest at the Broadway location , we tied and there was no run off or OT Will MIllender ,and I was given 1st place representing each location of Baja fresh

    Hey Don. It was nice meeting you. You seem like a decent guy 🙂

    Just for the sake if accuracy, I was told the final tally was my 4.5 to your 4. I ended with a half burrito on the plate.
    They awarded the same prize to those that had the most from each location as Don said. So we both technically won.
    The owners were really gracious. I look forward to free lunch starting next week.

    Don you are a disgrace to the IFOCE. After they went out of the way to give you a lifetime achievement award you turn around and associate with former members of a copycat organization? Not to mention that you promised you were retired from the sport. I think you retired from anything. You will be eating and competing till the day you die

    I was at the Contest today, & Don Lerman actually at 5 Burritos, with some reminents of skin remaining. Big Will had a much cleaner plate, but in my non-expert opinion less volume eatin. If it went by weight, I think Lerman took it clean, but he did look like he aged a bit.

    His legacy was not tarnished. Let the man compete when he wants to. He will beat you any day of the week.

    Well put, Big Will. Sometimes people forget that we’re talking about competitive eating here. The man ATE SOME BURRITOS. It’s not like Don was the “retired” quarterback of a Wisconsin football team and then went and played for their rivals.

    Foremen came back won pick up games (fights). Then he became the oldest heavy weight champion in the world. At least
    Don has a family. What do bring to the table besides criticism? Gathering your thoughts is not an option. Don you are the man.
