Don “Moses” Lerman in the Wing Bowl
Don “Moses” Lerman has a blog entry about his history in the Wing Bowl and his negative experience in Wing Bowl 13. Lerman’s difficulty in entering the arena in that event is mentioned on page 185 of “Horsemen of the Esophagus” by Jason Fagone:
The media-door supplicants aren’t all pretenders. Some are even participants, like Mr. IFOCE himself, George Shea, his neatly slicked hair and sharp suit putting the Philly mooks to shame. Butter champ Don Lerman is here, too. I’m standing right next to him. I know it’s Don Lerman because it says so on his wool hat.

Don why don’t you do yourself a favor and find something else to occupy yourself with . You have a gorgeous girlfriend and the both of you should settle down in your golden years of retirement. Your constant rants about losing weight and gaining weight and desire to compete in wingbowl and not compete, is very annoying to the fans of eatfeats.com It seems that all that interests you is attention. Pack up your website and be done with this nonsense. If they gave you a bye in the wingbowl which they wont, you know damn well that even in 3ft of snow you would find someway to get to Philadelphia .

wanna bet if any of the old eaters get invited to wingbowl and lermans name is left out he will throw a temper tantrum the likes of which you have never seen except for sharks feeding time at the aquarium

brian I had to further my comments on this page . you have a serious charactor flaw . anonoymous 919 why shouldn’t I feell slighted if thta occurs , i helpmade ce a sport by as the matzah ball champ crossing over to the hot dogs and bringing my presidge as matzah ball champ to what was then just a local contest and help pioneer the wing bowl for non philly resents when no one else in the ifoce was interested ecept krazy kevin myself and coondog all i wasnt is some respect

Lerman so what you are doing is contradicting yourself once again. You say you will decline a wingbowl invitation but in the same breath you will be slighted if an old school eater like hardy is invited. Make up your f–in mind for god sake.

let me clarify my position , if asked which I doubt , I not going first off my weight secondly my broken foot and finally it comes down to a matter of trust my name was omited accidentaly ( I have my doubts to that) at the last wing bowl from the list of competiters and even thou i wrote angelo cataldi he never responded with any reply , I can’t risk making a trip and reserving a room if something like this could happen again . I know thaat some old time eaters will be down there , apararntly they may have some sort of contact from either WIP or theifoce I haven’t so I said I aint going .Had they offered tO give me an apperance fee and pay for my transporation and lodging that may have made it a different ballgame bit that never happened …..don lerman
