I just wanted to let everyone know that tommorow (July 31) on Sirius radio, on the Stretch show, Eater X and Crazy Legs Conti will be having a sanctioned eating contest against one of the hosts Bower. The show airs from 10 AM EST- 2 PM EST. I am not sure what the food will be but I heard it advertised tonight on the Devore and Diane show. Hope someone can get a recap.

I heard Covino & Rich on Sirius this morning saying something about Crazy Legs and tomorrow and pizza.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why the IFOCE does not publicize such events. It seems to me that they grossly fail to maximize exposure for bothe CE, the eaters, and themselves.
What is the risk that I’m not seeing? I sometimes believe that they don’t take CE seriously themselves, and when the events are no longer profitable for them, they will leave the CE scene faster than Koby can eat a pan-seared cow brain.

Rhonda you fail to realize that they dont need to hype these events. They are responsible for Crazy Legs and Janus being on the show. 9out of 10 times when you read about an eater appearing on a tv or radio show it is because the Shea’s got them the exposure. I think they stopped publicize eaters media coverage because others were complaining “what about me”

You seem to be getting that its all about them.
Rhonda, forget the “when the events are no longer profitable for them” & put in when they aren’t super duper profitable.
If they go to low to mid 6 figures each, they will probably find something else, like commercial real estate, to do.
