I have updated the MLE rankings using the system described last year. People need two MLE contest results in the past 365 days to be listed.

    Well, I have to give you credit for trying, OJ. Obviously, you’ve put a lot of time and effort into this —- probably much more than goes into figuring “official” rankings.

    It’s very tough, if not virtually impossible, to account for intangibles (e.g. opponent strength, food/contest variety, victory dominance, etc.) in an objective fashion. And, just how much weight should be given to HDBs?

    But, again, you’ve probably done a much better job than any other “expert” on the subject.

    It’s both surprising and deflating to me that it takes nearly 6 months, and counting, after CE’s “Super Bowl” for MLE to revise rankings. Hence, we have yet another reason why it’s foolish to take CE even semi-seriously as a sport, hobby, entertainment, or whatever you want to call it.

    I use to try to self-conjecture about possible reasons for various tactics, but that’s a total waste of time, since even the “powers that be,” don’t take it seriously.

    The only two losers that care about the rankings is the bald hearing aid fitter and the letter carrier who are no longer involved in the sport..Their only concern is hoping Seiken is dumped from rankings

    Yes 1050 it is a true story His stylist was someone named Geller . He also worked for Elvis and i am sure in the back of his mind he could not give 2shits but since the king was paying him a salary he agreed it would be a great idea. Now in Seiken case not one person on this planet would give a rats ass if he announced he was recording a gospel album

    I just wish i was there when he told that jerk he was excited about recording a gospel album . I would have told him who gives a shit about your gospel album you dick.     I guess Goldstein standard excuse as to why Seiken was moved up or not moved up instead of being dropped all together was that Sheas pity him and that he might pull a Scott Bickle . There is no pity for anyone . IFOCE is a business and thats how they run it. Personal feelings towards someone is thrown out the window remember that Its all about eating ability. Seiken probably should have been ranked way higher but thats how the chips fall He had a decent showing with 17 hot dogs in June and was in the money in Canoli’s Great to see Carlene and Rich back in the saddle . The losers that left the organization for no reason really look stupid now because some of the old school people are back and others like the Goldsteins will never be welcome back unless they beg

    The Goldsteins only concern is whether Seiken was dropped . The rest of the rankings mean nothing to either of them
