    I dont see the point in making a trip to the clinton diner knowing it is impossible for even a team of eaters to finish it. Just the idea that it’s “awesome” to hang out with a bunch of competitive eaters and socialize is not enough for me to waste my time with this total bullshit

    Someone was able to capture a picture of exactly how ridiculous Ian looks with that sideways hat.

    With Ian being such a great eater, I think he can wear his hat anyway that he wants. He’s a pretty cool dude too.

    It seems instead of eating food we just want our picture taken for the cameras. You don’t see any of the Japanese eaters posing now do you. They came over here and took care of buisiness, not to pose.

    Actually, knowing a little bit about filming for reality tv, it’s very likely that the parts of the video you saw as “poses” were recorded before the start and were spliced together.

    OK Jaykedog you’re right it’s not they, The Japanese came over to the USA and took care of buisiness. About the pose look at the picture I never seen an eater stand next to his food, but you must have.
    Oh and by the way take another look… Maybe you should know what you’re looking at before you post a comment..

    Okay Bob you win….I’m wrong. IMO the Americans (whether posing or not) are no slouches. Speed eating and eating for stamina are two different ball games.
