The guys named Gravy and Kevin Ross were there. Gravy struggled and really sucked at eating Crawfish. Perhaps he should practice before signing up for an event.

How do you figure Kevin Ross being a threat even if he did show up. He is highly over ranked which is quite obvious. I believe he was there and finished out of the money.

For the past 4 hours oJ rifkin has not posted any comments but has certainly deleted some that never made it to the comment page. The reason is that he is searching all ends of the net for videos and more pictures of sonya victory. He has no other life but to do that

Expect Kevin Cronk Ross to post here in the next 24 hours as to the reason why he finished out of the money. He might even entertain us with one of his mathematical theories explaining his lackluster performance. I am getting sick and tired of people coming up with every excuse in the book as to why they finished poorly in a contest.

Although there was serious issues with weighing which I did my best to try to help fix so results were fair for everyone, I think that I would have placed out of money even if weighing was done in a sensible way…the locals knew how to eat crawfish fast…I suppose I would have had to eat shells to get more weight but didn’t wanna…anyway I came out here to have fun in nola anyway…and that I won’t fail at!

Skepticle has a good point. Why ARE all the weights in even half pounds? Does anyone who was there know?
And why is everyone glossing over the big story here, which is “who is Nick Bauer?” The guy ate THREE TIMES the total of two pros who have both eaten at the big table (Coney). This guy also put pressure on Sonya in this contest. Very impressive. Granted, crawfish are probably a technique food (those shells can be tricky) which explains why three locals did so well, but still.
