Holy! I have so many questions. What was that first thing? It looked like a sweet bean/rice cake or something? And what was the meat! It looked like chicken when she was eating it, but…not when they were preparing it? And what happened at the end? It looks like she came back to finish the second half of that ice cream thing, but was that a different day, or just a couple hours later or what?

    So impressive.

Its pointless unless she comes to the United States. It would be interesting to see how she does in IFOCE contests.Does anyone know if there are plans to bring her here?

Sonya would crush her. I actually asked Sonya in NC if she could beat the “Gal” or atleast wanted to go up against her. Sonya was like bring it on. The Gal doesn’t stand a chance against Sonya Hell only three people in the world do and “The Gal” ain’t one of them.

Not really speed eating, but definitely good capacity…if you believe what you see (and I have my doubts).

I 2nd MegaMunch. “if you believe what you see (and I have my doubts)”. Let’s see 40k eaten in an unedited tape. Sure it’d be boring as hell but it’d be solid evidence. 40k my ass.

I agree Bubba. It’s almost a slap against Sonya to compare the two. Carlene would smoke The Gal also. That’s no offense to The Gal, however, as it’s very admirable that she can do what she does, and she’s probably a very nice person.

This is Don Lerman speaking why should this ”GAL SONE’ or any other foreign competive eater be permitt ed to eat in I F O C E contests in this country , don’t they have thier own eating organizations that they belong to on Japan , isnt that a conflict of interest like and american eater competing in aice and ifoce events.
mike r geller should be banned from this and all blog sites on competitive eating

all this talk about kicking one’s ass. let her come to U.S and do the talking at the table. I think she is good but only 20yrs old and lacks the seasoned talent that Sonya has. Sonya would put a hurting on her

I believe that Natsuko “Gal” Sone is very talented in capacity, but I have been watching tapes of the contests she has been in against The Giant, and he always beats her except for that one time. If she cannot beat The Giant then how do you expect her to beat Sonya Thomas? I do not believe that Gal is not the best in speed.
