Glutton Force 5, the food truck owned by Pat Bertoletti and Tim Brown, will face off against a vehicle called Fat Shallot for a spot in a food court located in Gurnee, IL in an upcoming episode of  the Food Network's Food Court Wars which will probably be televised in March, possibly March 2. Excellent! More great competitive eating episodes and publicity for eaters, fans, all. All three have been long part of CE and bringing the best to it. Thanks Val for keeping everyone up to date.

I’m glad they are making dreams come true. Being on TV would not be possible if they were still part of mle.

The truth hurt? Being a part of MLE will only keep you from pursuing other passions in the eating world. Just ask Joey, he is stuck being the Sheas lapdog.

Lots of MLE people cheer for Pat and Gravy. Great for them to have new opportunities. They left for their own reasons but still owe MLE for putting them on the CE map, money, exposure, you name it. MLE with a contract followed is a choice some people make. Crap on it all you want, everyone has a choice. Joey the Sheas lapdog? That is funny. That is one really rich lapdog.

But the $$$ Joey could make outside of the MLE at this point of his career (without gorging) is insane. He may not have the status or household name of Kobayashi but Joey has earned respect throughout the years. Certainly he would get paying gigs or appearances. The sky is the limit when you are #1 but the Sheas do keep him contained to a degree. What a shame.

710 but well runs dry sooner or later. When the sponsors get tired of him beating up lame competition in pizza or burrito ccontests the appearance fees become non existent

Seiken could care less if he is liked or not . He’s not even part of the sport anymore

Joey could not make any appearance money or any money outside of MLE which would compare to what he makes now. He isn’t dumb. He also isn’t a good spokesman for CE in terms of interviews and presentations. He eats as number 1. When he can no longer do that and win Nathans, then, and only then, there might be changes. Those will be his choice and MLE’s choice just as it always is.
