The b.good website has a picture and brief article about Gretchen Salyer, who won the Garlicky Greens championship two weeks ago. If Ms. Salyer is a female impersonator, s/he is doing a much better job than “Helen Haggerty” 😉
updated boston.com has a paragraph about Gretchen’s victory, which states she ate 2.9 lbs. in five minutes. The Harvard article says she ate 2.73 lbs.

I hope to see alot more of Gretchen Salyer in competitive eating. She is Hot! I hope she can break into the ifoce. Her looks could definitely bring more attention to the sport of competitive eating…
