    To begin with let me say good luck to Hall Hunt and everyone else that will be in Jacksonville. I’ll be there in hopes I can break Super Pauls record.

    Now on to another story about the Jacksonville contest.

    I want to apologize to the readers here on eatfeats and my fellow members in IFOCE. After posting my question about “Rubber Gut” I received a message that basically told me to shut up. The message went on to say that they thought no one in IFOCE was smart enough to get the connection.

    They guessed that the only reason I caught it was that “Rubber Gut” was mentioned on the Krystal Square Off website as being at the top of the leader board. They said they told her to take her time and not try so hard but that all the eaters in this IFOCE contest were so bad that “Rubber Gut” had to almost stop just to let the others eaters catch up. She ate 13 in 2 minutes to set a new female record it said.

    They admitted the idea was to compete on Monday and not only to make fun but to destroy Juliet Lee and then use that to show just how bad IFOCE is and how great AICE is.

    So after getting the message I wish to apologize to all for my asking the question and for exposing this. I also sincerely apologize to those members of AICE who thought they could use “Rubber Gut” to make a laughing stock, as they put it, out of Juliet Lee and some other members of IFOCE.

The list of great rivalries has a new edition… Hall Hunt vs. Juliet Lee. Hunt and Lee have faced off three times with Hunt claiming a narrow victory each time.

    Hunt and Lee will renew the rivalry at the Krystal Square Off Local Finals in Jacksonville, but victory is far from assured for either eater. They will have to hold off the likes of highly-ranked Tim Brown, as well as a group of Florida-based eaters including newcomer Elizabeth “Rubber Gut” Canady. The full listing of eaters follows.
