I suppose that Kobayashi could still represent the brand with his logo being something easily recognizable. As for the rest, you cannot have a spokesman who has to speak through a translator. I doubt highly that Hofmann’s, no matter how much money they have backing them in all of their ventures, is going to have Kobayshi be their ambassador, even in Asia, even in Japan. His time in Japan is honestly over, he does not have the personality to become what they call terebi talento, like Gal Sone. He is very quiet and not outgoing at all, polite yes, but you need a personality, what he has is huge capacity, eating machine like, and then he shows his belly and muscles at the end. It just is not compelling. What a nice guy does not buy much.
