Why won’t they tell us what the totals were by weight? Obviously they weighed them because they bumped Aaron down to third in spite of the fact that he ate a greater number of wings than Tim Brown did.

I was at a Nathan’s qualifier last year when Jason came up short. I think it really lit a fire under him when he failed to go to Coney last year to step up his game. That’s good for the sport. If Conte can continue this trend, I’m going to ask OJ for a poll of the greatest competitive eating comebacks. Even though I still say it was rigged, El Wingo besting Sonya in their second match up would be in the running? Kobi against Joey at Krystals? Joey against Kobi at dumplings in Asia. Book’s probably had several comebacks in his career? Hell, I’d even be willing to give Beautiful Brian props when it comes to comebacks in pickles? Cookie beating Sonya in a match play wing eat off at Hooters? I’ll bet the old timers might have quite a few nominations when it comes to comebacks.

Less then a week ago a contest runs out of food and now this happens? Where is the outcry from all the people who had something to say about records and that the MLE should be the be all end all for comp eating? It would be great to hear their take on all this – I am guessing theyre all pretty upset and if totally unbiased will have plenty to say! Atrain got screwed and is showing great restraint!

Congrats to Legs! I always knew he was omnitalented in wings. I think this was perhaps his best performance in any food to date!
If I were his manager, I’d have him knocking on the door of the top 10, just by avoiding certain foods/contests, in which his limiting factor (stomach capacity) comes into play, and focusing on those in which he can use his strength (hand speed).
He will be a force in corn. I have him finishing in the top three, regardless of who’s there. His hand speed will get him far, and since corn on the cob is so very subjective, Legs could pull a major upset over elite eaters.

I mean he has his shitsandwich of an eating organization and has such little understanding of competitive eating he doesn’t get that Hooters weigh the wings. They could care less about Conte. Calling Sonya a cheater is priceless too, what after 10 years of phenomenal eating she suddenly decides to cheat at a contest she clearly was heads and shoulders over the competition? The funniest thing is he doesn’t understand that everyone knows he’s with APE and how very sad he and his organization looks. Look buddy, MLE has Hooters, Pizza Hut, Nathan’s, and all the top companies and eaters in the world. That’s the way the independent ESPN’s and Associated Press’s of the world see it.
