IFOCE.com reports that registration for the Kolache Factory Championship at Minute Maid Park in Houston on September 4 will open tomorrow and the purse will be $10,000.

    I think it depends on the consistency/texture of the grits Mega. Pat certainly CAN do 22 lbs (he won with 21 in 2007), but last year he finished second to X with 12.8 lbs; Tim ate 13.9.

    That leads me to believe that had Sonya or Humble Bob been in town there might have been a different winner. Had Koby been there he’d have devastated all of them last year.

    (Sorry if the exuberance seems a bit overbearing. I’m just his biggest fan, I guess.)

    That’s true. I forgot about his drop off in total last year vs. 2007. I say they water them down and see if Pat can set a new all time record for most weight consumed by a human in one sitting. I have no doubt that his 21 pounds in 2007 is an all time record dating back to the days when cavemen would sit around the fire and challenge each other to saber toothed tiger eating contests.

    Bertoletti and Janus have finished 1 and 2 and 2 and 1. I don’t see why having Humble Rob and Sonya would make a difference.
