IFOCE rib contest in Mississippi April 17?

Elissa Plastino reports that a rib eating contest will take place at the Isle of Capri casino in Lula, Mississippi on April 17. The sites for the peanut butter & banana sandwich and catfish contests are other Isle of Capri casinos.

    Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. has established a partnership with the International Federation of Competitive Eating (IFOCE) to host a competitive eating contest at the Isle Casino Hotel and Lady Luck Casino Black Hawk. Sanctioned by Major League Eating, a World Rocky Mountain Oyster eating contest will take place on Saturday, August 28.

    Initiation of begging to go to Lula, Ms starts now…of course, if I hadn’t just lost my job due to corporate restructuring last week, I may be in a better position to start begging….my first argument: At least one of us will get to eat this year!
