Why is he allowed to do all these non-MLE contests? He also did a dumpling contest in California with Raina.

@5:28 was that a contest? I thought it was just him eating

It was stated by George Shea in a documentary that the reason for the MLE contest only rule was because of the possibility of mishaps or accidents to their eaters in non sanctioned events.
That is pretty odd if these contests took place in his MLE era.

Scratch that – I just skimmed through the docs and it was not Shea who said that, but a youtube/mle eater.

Webb get food poisoning and gets other illnesses often. It’s the only reason he loses. I feel bad that he seems to ironically find all the places with bad food. Or does he?

Mr Webb. If everyone is talking about you then you must be making them nervous. I like it!

@10:08, I don’t think that’s a good logic to go by on here. If that’s the case, everyone must be super nervous of Moh motion too, since he’s been talked about quite a bit…
I don’t think Moh is really threatening anyone in the top 10 of MLE

1008 right on. Everyone is going after the future number one ranked competitor Webb. Keep up the great work. My advice stop eating challenges and focus on winning events

Everyone talks about Raina and Moh too and s they don’t make anyone nervous except a primary care physician

Webb you got Miki nervous. It’s obvious because you will outrank then in a short time.

Webb is a very very good eater. Probably 6th in the world on his best day independent or signed. But I’d say Joey, Molly, Miki, Kennedy and Esper are in a class of their own on their best days

10:54 is Ron Burgandy (AKA, JWebby himself): “I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany” LOL 🙂

Don’t forget Pat Bertoletti. He’s no joke either, despite his pseudo retirement. Darren is/was very good too, but he’s smart if he doesn’t come back. Plus some of the eaters in Japan, China, and South Pacific are crazy in terms of capacity–but it would take them some practice to catch-up to the speed that US eaters have. Ricardo and Maz Suzuki are other notables. I’d love to see how Leah Shutkever would hang in a couple MLE contests. 8-minute events would probably be her sweet-spot.

@5:28am – This sushi contest was a sanctioned event by the Australian competitive eating “body”, he is allowed to compete in his home country, was approved by MLE when he signed his contract.

The dumpling race wasn’t a contest. It was a collab. He and Raina were paid to be there for a product promotion. Again, within his right to do. Get over it.
