I think we should cut the horse crap and come to grips that this man is on the verge of becoming the greatest eater of all time. He only has one or two hurdles Kobe & Joey . It wont be long before he inches his way past both. He is in shape . Joey is not. It would not surprise me one bit if some of the higher ranked eaters in an act of desperation, email the Sheas begging them not to ever let this compete in MLE events. Not only will he cost them $$$ but more importantly, attention. Yes attention and notoriety which they can never receive anywhere else in their sad and boring lives .

With practice this guy could be eating 70 plus hdb’s.

With practice?!? Are you kidding? The guy has done 70+ contests/challenges in the last year. I think that’s plenty of practice. That’s more activity than most pros log in three years.

What he puts his body through in the gym , makes eating look like nothing more than a big treat for him. This explains why he is able to accomplish what he does

I wonder if he throws up after a contest, like all the others that do but say they don’t.

When Jamie posts a video of him eating 60 or more hot dogs, then he will get the attention of joey and kobi. the toad and B.O.B. might be scared of Jamie, but not the top tier eaters.

When Jamie posts a video? Videos mean nothing. He doesnt need to prove anything to anyone

Who did Jamie McDonald actually beat to win this “Men’s Culinary Classic?” I can’t find anything, not even a website. It seems the only people who care about McDonald are the McDonald brothers. Reporters are starting to get this self promoting routine and even independent and APE lackies are growing tired of it. He’s lost to every top eater. I guess the McDonalds’ plan now is to beat amateurs and claim greatness. I ate four bowls of Trix this morning at my Men’s Culinary Classic which places me in a postion to inch my way past Kobayashi and Chestnut. When McDonald does something, anything, of noteworthy recognition then he should be recognized. Until then, STFU. McDonald should sign a contract and have someone like Pat Bertoletti stomp this guy at a Nathan’s qualifyier. He won’t though, because then he would expose himself to be very average like when he earlier tried to eat against top eaters and who wants to pay $99.00 to talk to an average egoist.

Jamie McDonald admitted reversing after the Springfield, NJ hot dog contest at the end of this Sydney Morning Herald article.

Jamie does not need MLE and MLE does not need Jamie. If Jamie intended to once be with MLE that ship has long sailed. There will be no matchups. Apples and oranges anyway. Jamie is smart and has a very well organized website etc.

There are two types of promoters. The ones that promote within their organization and the ones that look for the biggest talent out there to go up against their top guy. The Sheas are an example of the first type which does very little in elevating the event or bring in the crowds. True that Nathans and ESPN are content with Joey blowing out the field every year but this will come to and end shortly . Expect C-Span to pick up where they left off in 2003.providing us with a distorted inaudible footage on the 4th of July

Anony 1:27. ESPN has a contract with Nathan’s until 2017. MLE has top competitions to bring in the media and crowds that’s why they get the top sponsors. Leaving independents, APE and Boone’s farce with small time sponsors. From a business standpoint, competitive eating is just a way to adverstise a product. How much would you pay for an hour long commercial on ESPN on the Fourth of July. Guys like Kobayashi and McDonald never understood that and thought competitive eating was about them. It’s not. Kobayashi can get some sponsors because of his time on the national stage with MLE, which he still points out today of being a Nathan’s champion. APE eaters like McDonald and his brother can’t draw big sponsors because of their eaters demonstrated lack of loyality to a specific product. Seventy-five competitions a year with competing products is a bad business model. But that’s what happens when you hire your brother as your manager.

Anony 3:37 p.m. I’m really starting to wonder if McDonald has the brains to think anything out. First never hire a manager, with no understanding of competitive eating or promoting anything, you can’t fire. That’s number one. Let’s take that article that OJ recently put up regarding McDonald puking at contests. Doesn’t he realize that, if that was known, no challenge or competition would ever let him eat if he’s admitedly going to puke out their product when they’re done. I’m not saying puking doesn’t go on. If MLE could prove an eater was puking, for legal reasons that eater would be gone. Don’t get me wrong, puking is not widespread among the top eaters, because for health reasons you won’t remain on top if you are puking all the time. But, if you do puke never admit it publically in a news article. I’m starting to think, that McDonald is just not too bright, but actually pretty stupid. Puposely puking 75 times a year and telling a reporter about it, well I rest my case.

I do agree with Reality that doing so many comps in a year does “devalue” the “Jamie Mcdonald brand” and the business model is broken.

6:13 I don’t agree with what in “Reality” is just straight up envy by those who are not able to eat at will because they are a MLE prisoner. How friggin stupid can anyone be to believe anyone with large super human capacity does not eliminate orally as soon as possible. It is a fact bucko absolutely no doubt about it if you are a a premier eater you do not digest the mass quantities and shit them out in a 70 hot dog super turd. Some of the table enders may hold down their less substantial food amounts and feel like shit for doing so. McDonalds honesty is nothing more than reality as distasteful as it may be for you to accept it is however REALITY for elite huge capacity eaters, a reality which every MLE eater and a majority of indy eater don’t talk about, straight up lie and deny. The greats are not only worlds greatest eaters but also by neccesity the worlds greatest puker and many world class liars and deniers.

Jamie was not the only person to admit reversing last year

I think you have to take things case by case. If eaters like MacDonald with their huge quantities regularly eliminate, just like food disorders, they are going to have big health problems. Acid on teeth for starters, really messing with your system. There is a reason people end up in hospitals using this technique regularly. Even trigger vomiting is not good for the system. Do not think it is a one size fits all. If you are an eater or close to an eater you may know the answer for each individual contest and in general for eaters. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes not by design would be a good guess. Not about lying, just about not a simple answer.

OJ is this reversing regularly or reversing? There is a big difference.

Isnt it obvious who Reailty is ? Certainly not a fan of the sport or a table ender. Someone that perceives Jamie as a possible threat if they ever went head to head in competition. Its a top 5 IFOCE member no doubt

If you remodel a bathroom into a “vomitorium”, as Tim Brown described in the interview, it is probable that the behavior is regular.
