I saw Hangman on TV a few months back. I sent him an e-mail and he sent me an autographed pictutre all the way out here to Texas at no charge. He did not have to do that. Never met the man but he seems to be a class act. Someday I hope to meet him.

Many eaters do not come to BB defense on this site when he is being slandered. Maybe US Male defending him using an alias is about as good as it gets. Many of you IFOCE members should be ashamed of yourself . I can just imagine if the guy had a heart attack or if he was getting his ass kicked on the street how many of you would look the other way or decide not to get invloved. Same applies to real life

What the heck are you talking about, 12:38pm ?? When did BB come up in this???

If BB left those comments he is really setting himself up for serious retaliation. OJ has his work cut out for him screening some of those not ready for prime time responses

Thanks for all the posts about me. To clarify, I am in Jesup, GA for the past two days. Today 31 trailers set up and started cooking today for the Bar-B-Q contest. The smell is fantastic as Saturday I’ll be Judging some of the ribs, pork, chicken and brisket.

My wife has a booth next to the main stage so I’ll have a front row to the cake baking contest, the are you smarter than a 5th grader contest along with other contests including the hot dog eating contest.

As to the hot dog eating contest. I have nothing to do with it. I have no idea on who has entered. I have been asked to be a part of it but have not decided one way or the other. With all the award winning Bar-B-Q I’ll be eating that morning, I most likely would lose the hot dog contest, which is just after I Judge the brisket contest anyway.

If I can, I’ll try to post the winners names here sometime Saturday night.

Thanks again to all the love many of you anonymous posters said here. I love you too.

    Hang in There,
    The Hangman

Anonymous @ 12:38 WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I have no problems defending Brian using my real name because he is a nice guy but where did that off the wall comment come from on a Hangman story? If you hate Brian or have a problem, use your real name

Morning started with me doing 2 radio and 2 TV shows. then the Bar-B-Q Judging began. I had already consumed over 4 pounds of ribs, chicken, pork and brisket Bar-B-Q before the skys opened and the rains came.

The hot dog contest started late due to the weather and I decided to enter after all. This was after I had spotted someone in the area dressed in bib overalls. Yes it was Dale Boone.

After the contest I was awarded $25 cash prize for being judged as the “Crowd Favorite”.

Dale Boone won the contest consuming 15 HDB’s in 5 minutes. I had 10. Dale won $120 in cash and prizes.

Dale had to leave the contest shortly afterwards as he was in another contest in Folly beach, SC where he was to consume nachos in a 4 PM contest. After that second contest he had a third this evening, making it a triple header contest day. Not many professional eaters can do a triple in one day. Many ahve trouble doing 3 in 3 days.

Here are some pictures to the Jesup Contest of The Hangman and Dale Boone.

Hangman i have to question your fabricated totals and the last thing we want to see is that ball of hay in overalls brag about his triple header victory beating a bunch of old women

The Jesup Arch Fest continues today for one more day. The weather has a 10% chance of rain. In this part of the country that is a good day.

Looks like I have one more TV interview coming. Got word this morning one more TV crew asked me to stand by. The Hangman meet and greet continues today with more free pictures and autographs in Jesup.

As to anonymous October 24, 2009 @ 8:59 pm comments. The alleged fabricated totals you say you have to question were given to me by Judges. As to Dale Boone. There was a 350 pound, 6 foot 8 fireman and big biker on stage. No old women in this contest. Dale Boone was a perfect gentleman both on and off the stage. It was a shock to see him there. He won. He was good. That is the last I’ll say on this.
