Jewish Exponent on Dave “US Male” Goldstein
The Jewish Exponent has an article about Dave “US Male” Goldstein who finished in the top five of Wing Bowl 15. Goldstein’s qualifying stunt was eating letters, which he accomplished by eating pancakes shaped like letters of the alphabet instead of paper items.
Most readers of this website will probably disagree with the following paragraph (and one will definitely beg to differ):
Goldstein now becomes arguably the best Jewish Wing Bowl competitor, surpassing 2002’s “Lord of the Wings” Alix Friedman and last year’s “Hungry, Hungry Hebrew” Adam Taxin, who both failed to make it to the second round when they competed.

Had Don Moses Lerman been allowed to compete this year in Wing Bowl, he would have really given the top dogs a run for theit money for sure. I see a Wing Bowl crown on Don’s head next year.

I know that i ate or got credit for approximatlty 156 to 170 each year . I can still eat wings i have speed capacity and technech and I”D love to give it a try next year .don lerman

If Doncomes back next year, just think. It would be a true battle of the titans. Former champion El Wingador, versus current champion Joey Chestnut, versus the greatest legend ever, Don Moses Lerman. That would be a real classic.

He was credited w/155 or 156 wings. You were credited with 121 & I was credited w/120. I wish I didn’t remember this sh*t.
I don’t know what you did in the 1st round. I was credited w/76 & wingador w/ 85 or vice versa. I must have ONLY done 33 in the 2nd round, because I know I did 11 in the last round. ( I did so miserably in the 2nd round from A) Being full, it was my 1st event over 12 minutes long. B) I realized I lost, Wingador had a huge lead on me, so I slowed, along with C) because I thought I had 2nd locked down, because you were on the verge of puking the, i’ll say it again, the ENTIRE 2nd round. I only did 11 to catch you, & came 1 short. I think you did 5 or 6, that’s about the only thing i’m not sure of.
It really shouldn’t matter though, we both took home a Movado watch for 2nd/3rd. I’ve never worn mine, the band doesn’t fit & I know what time it is from my cell phone.
Wingador had a lead of about 30 over you & 35 or so, over me going into the 2 minute round.
Don, while we may argue, it is great to have you back. It really is almost boring on this board w/out your crazy #ss.

Lerman has banned all anonymous names from commenting on his website including names he is not familiar with. This means that the only people that will comment on his site are the ones that tell him how fantastic and great eater he is . I suggest a don lerman eating organization with lerman competing against himself .

Don Lerman should be bestowed a perpetual honorary ranking somewhere in the top 10, alowing him to enter any contest he wants at will. He has earned it. Don has the kind of sneaky greatness in which he could even wrest the belt from Koby should he be on his game. He is probably Americas best and only hope at this time. God broke the mold when he made Don Moses Lerman. He is so great, I wish I owned something with his DNA on it. Even a urine sample.
