Joe LaRue to defend pancake title in Central NY

Tomorrow morning, Joe LaRue will look to better his record of 30 pancakes in 15 minutes at the pancake contest at the Central New York Maple Festival in Marathon, NY.

    It would be nice to find out about these contests BEFORE the day of the contest! 🙁

    Plus, I slipped in the rankings (15th to 20th), rightfully so, I’ve Stunk lately, I’ve been “Hungry” but not “Focused”! 🙁

    I will be swallowing my aggression….along with alot of Hot Dogs (hopefully the most!) May 20th in East Hartford, CT. 🙂

    Pat & Don It sounds kind of like you’re taking a shot at ojrifkin. It sounds like you’re pissed at ojrifkin for not telling you about contests, for keeping them secret. On the internet anyone can find out about anything that anyone else can find out about.

    Yo Mama, your reading quite a bit more into my post (and Don’s for that matter), than it says. If I was Pissed, I’d say I was Pissed. I meant exactly what I said “It would be nice…”, it’s no one’s “Job” to inform me about contests, if it wasn’t for ojrifkin, I would’nt have known about the contest at all so why would I be Pissed?…for the record: This is a great site and so is “EatFeats.com” (great database!)

    As for Google, please let me know what search term I should enter.”Eating”? “Contest”? “Pancake”? (you don’t have to, it’s not your job and I won’t get Pissed…lol! 🙂 )….I’m just wondering how you search for something you don’t know about in the first place.

    Don, If you weren’t signed in even though you posted first you post has to wait for approval. This prevents unregistered people from causeing problems.

    If a competitor talks to someone at IFOCE first then everything’s fine. Note that this contest was not sanctioned by the other group. I think Joe LaRue knows about the rules.
