    Don’t compare Joel to Molly. He doesn’t want to be compared to a mentally unstable person whose self worth competely depends on competitive eating. Joel is intelligent, articulate, relatable, and he’s great at media and good for sponsors. She’s toxic for sponsors. Please don’t associate him with her.

    I honestly don’t think Molly’s self worth is at all related to people watching her eating. She doesn’t care about being a YouTube personality, she just has an amazing ability which people enjoy watching. She could care less about how she’s seen, so long as she gets the prize money or the food for free, or her videos generate some income. Also I don’t think she’s unstable, she just likes pushing the envelope and has a bit of a killer instinct when it comes to destroying food. And if she has a gigantic barf after it, its her business too. Any champion boxer or athlete probably has the same level of “insanity.”
