Joey Chestnut did an interview for CBS Local about The Good, The Bad, The Hungry. He is more sympathetic to Takeru Kobayashi's grievances that he has previously been saying (around 7:20) "There are things he was right about. The contract needed to change." He also talks about the Wing Bowl and The Amazing race and announces the ESPN air date for the documentary as July 2.

Why doesn’t he mention the time during corned beef eating contest in NYC in 2008 when paramedics were working on him with massive amts of cotton in the back room for an extensive nose bleed while Rich Shea makes up a story that Joey will be here shortly hes busy signing autographs Yeah right

Oh now he’s sympathetic towards Kobe needs. Sure why not hes happy making tons of money and getting tons of media exposure so he can sit back relax laugh and give Kobe a kudo or two. Everything is wonderful then things are going your’e way . The less you say the better and kobe doesn’t need the sympathy act

Blowy chestnuts is busy with boobs in soup. He hired an ugly stunt double with last seasons black jeans to show up to Tribeca. He can be Moobs in soup.

No i have no intention of seeing the film because its the same old boring shit. . In the movie Hungry some of the footage looked like someone held a camera in front of their computer screen to tape the youtube conest footage with kobe. More than likely some of that distorted film footage will appear in this one as well. Conti movie i must say the film quality was very good especially the 2001 Nathans footage at the beginning of the movie considering that HD was in its infant stages.

Joey gets mad when he loses. He stops talking to them.

459 is correct When he came in 3rd in Carmines Meatball contest in AC in 2006 a famous blogger wanted to do an interview with him but he brushed him off and said Not right now. What a sore loser

The contract dispute with Kobayashi benefited not Kobayashi but Joey. He got a new contract, made new demands. Ironic. I wonder if any other eaters also negotiated. I doubt it. Joey has power as long as he remains number one. He has no reason to retire. No newcomers can catch him.

He ruined the entire sport ruined it for the great Kobe and the camaradeie with the old school eaters I wish he never set foot on MLE stage . You have no idea how much i hate him

I have to agree with 10:30 am minus the hate. I would much rather have Kobayashi speak with a translator than have to listen to Joey with his lack of skills in an interview.

Hes arrogant boring and all the money goes to him. If the roles were reversed years ago and he wasnt the guy taking over the sport he would have dumped it a long time ago and faded off into the wilderness and said fuck this with zero kudos to anyone

If you notice when he wins he tells the interviewer the food was good real good. When he loses he says nothing

He thinks anyone outside of MLE is a pathetic eater. Kobe, Molly, and a few others are truly elite as well. The only difference is they are stuck up and talk down on other eaters. I’ve never seen a rude side of either of them.

i find this repetitive and dumb . Who gives a shit about him? I would rather hear about Seiken and his roach collection or Goldstein and his cheap hairpiece
