Really Matt? What did Crazy Legs do to “deserve” to go on this trip? Let’s recount his past year of contests. Finished out of the money in all of them. Cheated his way to victory in Escondido, then when he loses a close one he storms off the stage and refuses to shake the winners hand. Keep it classy Crazy Legs, keep it classy.

A paid trip to Japan for a real class act that slammed the phone on Brian Subich when he called to tell him how bad he felt about CL getting a bad break

In all fairness to Crazy Legs, hes done he time and become a veteran in the sport. Regardless of how anyone feels about him cheating or whatever, no one can deny that hes been around for a long time and deserves the title of a veteran. And thats exactly how the MLE labels him as in this post.
    i stil wish i was going =]

Oh Really Matt Stonie? I guess you are an old hat at the game being around the sport for many years to that we can be enlightned with your words of wisdom. I can name about 10 veterans that have “been around for a long time” that deserve a shot at going to Japan instead of him

Matt doesnt have to be in the game for long to be a force to be respected at the table. Some people want to pretend that Legs is not one of the biggest known faces in CE. Really the biggest exposure to CE has come from ESPN and from there it goes down fast to MTV and Zen and the Art of CE. Legs might be on the decline in numbers and pulled some unfavorable stunts but he is still a great ambassator for MLE. Adrian is a nice a guy as you will ever meet. And Joey, well Joey is a eating machine, everything else is just meaningless.

There are veterans that have been around for a long time but do they have that it factor the Legs has? Legs has a lot more flexability than other eaters with life and work I am sure. I would think Badlands would be a smash hit in Japan over Legs but who else on the list of been around for a long time would you be refering to?

Yes Crazy Legs has been an ambassador for the sport in years past, no doubt. What is troubling though is that despite his obvious numerous attempts at cheating, MLE puts up with it and rewards him with a trip to Japan! So if all the hypocrites on here who want to blast Juliet Lee for cheating and expect the MLE to do something about her, you also must ask them to do something about Conti. And apparently they could care less if people cheat, after all despite his cheating and poor sportsmanship he still gets a reward! I guess as the saying goes “If you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying”.
