Joey Chestnut in SI list of 25 toughest athletes

Joey Chestnut is ranked #25 in Sports Illustrated’s list of the 25 toughest athletes in all sports. Joey’s “old school match” is Babe Ruth. The list apparently confuses “reviewing” with “reversing” (of fortune).

Joey is on his way to being as well known as DONMOSESLERMAN. Even if he does have a ways to go to catch the master of comp. eating he is well on his way.

Nothing against DONMOSESLERMAN, but Joey has accomplished much more in just three years than Don ever did! I don’t know anyone who thinks about DML when they talk about competitive eating. Everyone talks about “that little Asian guy” or “that kid who beat the little Asian guy”.

Joey didnt start competitive eating. DONMOSESLERMAN did. Without DML there would be no Joey ……….. BOOOOOOOYY! Respect your elders!

Anonymous said: 2:40pm, no offense to any of the eaters before “the new breed” but the new guys and girls have beat alot of those old records, just like the old breed did to the records before them,so why dont you stop living in the past so much and applaud the future of eating,it is bigger now than it has every been (and growing)….or try this ,look at Badlands,he is a class act,he tells the new guys good luck and go break my records and thats why he is classy, you sit around bitchin and complaining and just get all ashy….
