Joey Chestnut prepares for Nathan’s at “Hooterpalooza”
Joey Chestnut has written an entry for his yardbarker blog about tuning up for the Nathan’s finals by competing in a hot dog eating contest held at Hooterpalooza last Tuesday in Fremont, California. Joey managed to eat 43 hot dogs in 8 minutes, which is greater than the winning total at all 10 minute qualifiers held this year. Joey reveals his feelings about Kobayashi in the second half of the blog entry.

Joey Chestnut can eat in a non ifoce hot dog contest and it is okay.
Andrew Skinnyboy Lane eats in a non ifoce hot dog contest and is kicked out of nathans contests
The Hangman is a judge in a non ifoce hot dog contest. He does not even eat and he is kicked out of nathans contest for just being there.
Smell the pattern? It stinks.

Exactly anonymous 10:22 am. Rules we hear about are meant for some eaters but not for others. While the Sheas and Chestnut can make money off each other, rules do not apply. But take lower ranked or non ranked eaters and the rules are different.
Yoy can bet Joey got paid for his trip to Vegas unlike Lane or Hangman.
It is clear there are no rules in ifoce. Or at least none that are written down. So talk about breaking rules that do not exist is bull.
Lane and Hangman got screwed plain and simple while Joey took home another payday.

It is good to see Joey making money in IFOCE and Non IFOCE contests. Make it while you can Joey. There is always someone bigger and better than any of us out there. Today Joey may be at the top but tomorrow who knows who will be there.
