Joey Chestnut and Tim "Eater X" Janus are reportedly a team for the upcoming season of CBS' The Amazing Race, which started recording today in New York City.     There you go i knew it all along. Sheas are working with Janus in this project which is why he retired . It all falls into place. They are paying him and Chestnut 50k for the show and of course the greedy powers that be in mle want their cut as well

    According to that stupid contract which isnt worth the paper its printed on, as long as the media gigs do not involve eating , Chestnut or anyone else is free to do whatever they please without a binding agreement to pay the Shea brothers a dime . However if the Sheas got him the gig then that might be a horse of a different color. I don’t know how Janus involvement plays into this since he is supposedly no longer under contract with them

    I am just throwing figures around . Probably not even near 1/8 of that amount . Tim is pretty bright he would not have made it all way to the million dollar question if he was stupid.
