El Paso Inc. announces that Joey Chestnut will be facing off against military members in the Pop Goes the Fort Independence Day celebration at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX on July 4. This will end his streak of Nathan's Famous finals at 19 and give Larell Marie Mele the longest active streak with 14. update Joey Chestnut confirms he has accepted the invitation.

    Cool… now we know George’s hopeful words at the Strawberry event were only that. Having Joey’s whereabouts announced should make the eaters a little more focused as well.

    i bought some ballpark hotdogs for $2.99 at shoprite 8 in a pack they were delicious try buying one at a ballpark and you end up paying $7 a dog at citifield

    None of the top folks are sharing practice run videos this year. Not a clue why here. lol!
    Michelle has done Charity Water fundraisers for years with practices, but none so far with a week to go. Mayoi was fierce last year, but Michelle has been capable of 30+, so I’m not ruling her out. (no pressure, lol)

    If I were one of the top eaters, I wouldn’t be sharing my practice run videos either. There’s absolutely zero benefit/advantage to doing so, In terms of having an edge for the competition. It would only make sense if you are a monetized content creator, and make money off of your videos.
