A video clip of Ken Domon drinking 2 liters of water in less than five seconds has been uploaded to http://youtube.com/watch?v=dapiYkn_Xgc The title says he was competing against Kobayashi, but Kobayashi’s attempt is not included.

    it looks like only a liter though and the youtube may be mislabeled.
    still pretty great!

    That is 1 liter. It is as tall as a 2-liter but not nearly as fat.

    Looks like even all the other top eaters in Japan were also amazed. Thought I caught Kazutoro Arai for a few seconds and Kobi with a new hairdo. Nice to see him still active, even if only as a spectator. 4.88 seconds, 1 liter or two, that is still amazing. Looks like a 1 liter bottle. At that rate he could do a gallon in under 20 seconds and with his technique, doesn’t look like he would even slow down as he approached a gallon. At any rate, I am IMPRESSED.

    Being a fan of drinking challenges, specially milk, this one is very impressive, a great goal to try oneself, what a challenge, I think it is impossible but would be lots of fun to try it!
