Jacksonville Landing has been turned into a downtown beach party with the addition of 100 tons of sand, in the courtyard, where the Krystal Square Off will take place.

Hurricane Erika is predicted to impact Jacksonville during the Labor Day weekend. Hopefully the predicted heavy winds and rain will not dampen the fun. Even better; stay away until Tuesday.

The way she ate that day Seiken would have beaten her.

That man in the black hat was sweating even before they started eating. How hot does it get in Jacksonville?

I watched the First Coast News from Jacksonville on the Internet today and did not see Hall Hunt show up for the show as promised. Kenny was there and two news staff members in a contest where they ate 2 and 3 Krystals in one minute. Boring.
Hall Hunt no showed. What a rip.

This is to confirm Hall Hunt was not on First Coast News “Good Morning Jacksonville” on Friday as it was listed on the KSO Blog
Here is a link to the TV station, a story on the KSO and a video of the one minute eating contest from Friday’s show.

The Jacksonville.com website, which is the Florida Times Union paper has an article that says the winner of the Jacksonville KSO on Labor Day will win $500 and a trip to the finals.

Super Paul Bone Breaker Big Mouth Barlow at 52 years old is the second oldest eater qualified for KSO VI. In Chattanooga he finished in sixth place.
In Jacksonville, “The Hangman†Bruce Pobanz at 55 years old, is the oldest qualified eater in KSO VI. If Hangman does not make the top 5 in Jacksonville, I’ll never post here again.
So Hangman, you better finish in the top 5 or I’ll never say anything about you here ever again. Pack that Geritol Hangman. Being old is no excuse.
