A clip from a recent “Las Vegas” episode has been uploaded to http://eatfeats.com/videos/LasVegasHotDogContest.wmv (2 minutes 5MB) The video shows Sam (Vanessa Marcil) winning a hot dog eating contest for casino employees by eating the contents of a tray filled with of 50-80 bunless hot dogs (We only see her eat about two or three)

    She is too good looking to be a competiive eater. She was on the same show with Ed Jarvis in a Vegas episode 2yrs ago

    anonymous (Little “a,”), that’s kind of funny, but I hope Sonya and Juliet don’t read this. Extending your logic further, I guess Sonya and Juliet’s “stop beating me with the ugly stick” looks reinforce that notion. (Right …. well, no!)

    (I am literally about to split my side laughing, because I think your theory is totally inaccurate … whoa my God … I needed a good belly laugh today. Thanks!)

    As a matter of fact, ALL of the female competitive eaters I am familiar with are reasonably to very attractive, to include Helen! I honestly cannot think of one that is not.

    Does anyone remember Marie “Chang Gang” Chang from 2004? What the hell ever happened to her? Though she was a good eater, she wasn’t close to being on the same level as Carlene, Juliet, or Sonya. But she was certainly a sweet-looking lass!

    I actually dreamt about her a night or two, but in a “sisterly” sort of way … of course. Ah. Memories.

    Not knowing anything about CE to fondly remembering Marie Chang in a few months? Something smells fishy and its not me for a change.

    I remember Marie Chang. She was heavily scouted by the IFOCE and was invited to the Turkey day invitational in 2003 in NYC. They played her up big in that event and she didn’t do well at all.I introduced myself to Sonya Thomas after she pulled off a great victory over some big name eaters. Marie Chang was never to be heard from after that contest. I think they tried to pull a double female whammy against Ed Jarvis who was a huge favorite to win that day.

    Philly Guy, if you had been reading my posts over the last several months you would know that I have been a fan and follower of CE for not a few months, but a few YEARS (long, long before OJ established Trencherwomen), since Kobayashi first hit the scene in 2001. I

    know quite a bit, compared to the average onlooker, and I have a good memory in my waining years on this good earth. I am certainly no authority. But I do have an opinion, and I would like to believe that it is at least part ways well-founded.
