The Lancaster-Eagle Gazette has an article about "Big" Brian Subich, who will compete in the World Pulled Pork Sandwich Eating Championship at the Rhythm and Ribs BBQ Festival in Carroll, Ohio on Sunday. Other expected entrants include Kevin "LA Beast" Strahle and Jamie McDonald.

    Everyone got emails yesterday from Mike stating he was leaving MLE and Sam is the new contact person. My guess is that Mike never got a raise since he started 3+ years ago. I predict CLC will assume this role in the next few years.

    9:56 am, you have absolutely nothing upon which to base your comment except sheer speculation. You just love to cause trouble and unrest. I agree completely too with Yesterday’s news and suspect strongly that the same BS person made the 9:56 comment, purposely leaving out his Seiken name. Basically Seiken wonders why he doesn’t get invited anywhere, well look no further than his website. He should know also that journalists are strictly not welcome to CLC after parties, has been so since someone leaked information to the same Seiken and likely continues to do so. Last but not least, I am certain that OJR decides whether or not to make links based on an unbiased view of content, if he does link something, it has absolutely nothing to do with pressure. BS is a one note whiner, and you cannot sell Whining as a talent though he is the champion without question.

    I made the 9:56 comment because I got an e mail stating Mike was no longer with MLE and Sam B is the new contact person. Just guessing that Mike’s departure was over salary. Maybe he didn’t get a quarter for the parking meter like BB did. And I can see CL working the phones in the office some where down the road.

    I wonder if Mike found another job? The way the economy is going it is not that easy. How can anyone leave a position as exciting and challenging as marketing director for Major League Eating? Did he leave on his own recognisance or did they give him the boot?

    I am looking forward to eating delicious pulled pork in Ohio My first visit since watermelon 2004. Indiana is a short hike from there. Last time i competed in Dayton Ohio i was in the money but there was no prize money for 3rd place.
