    OJ,

Those prize amounts look correct. But the $50 5th place prize I got was cash, not gift certificate. Tim Brown in 4th was the only one to get a gift certificate. The rest of the prizes were cash. Well, actually they were business cards with the cash amount written on them. Apparently that acts as currency in Little Tokyo 🙂

Rumor has it that El Toro AKA The LA Assassin, will make a big move upward in the rankings….the final Best Dressed Eater rankings, that is…his main competition looks like the owner of the Best Dressed List – who has come out with a completely different look in every appearance this year.
Ross and Brown need to keep up after their strong Nathan’s showings…Ross tuxedo shirt helps cause, Brown with the cigar, not bad, looked liked Apocalypse Now character-was it intended? Humble Bob with the wet towel and “future champion” shirt, suddenly emerging into possible top twenty spot.
Who will make a move in Jacksonville, and Atlanta? – curious and demented minds want to know

Hurricane Gustav is approaching Texas around Sept 5. AICE will hold Dickey’s South West Regional Pulled Pork Eating Championship in San Antonio Texas on Sept 6. With a possible CAT 3, 4 or 5 Hurricane approaching, do you not think that AICE should cancel their contest? Is your life woth less than a pulled pork sandwich?

I find it funny that El Toro took on the persona of the LA Assian and was trying to do a wrestling move in that video. El Toro has been called the bull by some. He is a glorified table ender and now he tries to take the place of the Hangman as a wrestler. I welcome watching El Toro and The Hangman in an eating and wrestling contest. Hangman will slap the bull out of El Toro.

Question: When is the last time MLE has updated their rankings?
