If I remember correctly, Seymour, WI was the site of Sonya’s first nonqualifying IFOCE win—-the Hardees Thickburger contest in August of 2003. Ray Meduna came in second. I think Rich Shea was MC.

I’ve tried those Thickburgers and I love them. But I can’t understand why dunking rules are allowed. Not only do they get ridiculously messy when you do so, but the fillings start coming out and you destroy the taste of otherwise delicious food.

This festival also has a Ketchup slide contest where competitors run and slide as far as possible in ketchup.I’m saying around 200 feet.

Also the People in Wisc. are some of the friendliest folks in the country.Seems like just yesterday when Sonya kicked my butt.

Ray you still did well. I always believed you were one of the speediest eaters on the circuit, and I’m sure you still are.

    Thanks Rhonda
I still have the urge to do a contest .

I cannot swallow like I used to but still I have pretty good speed.I am pretty sure I will make an appearance in a contest in the near future.

Jello or Pudding would be good Ha Ha !!

I would like to see you go against some of the retired eaters like Cookie,,Kratchie,Kevin Lip,Lerman in a old time match.

I think a contest with all retired eaters would be very interesting.I competed against Kratchie when he came back for a brief moment.
