    Juliet has a great shot of finishing second here. It will either be: Joey, Juliet, Erik or Joey, Erik, Juliet, respectively.

    Either way, Joey will be so far ahead they’ll need to send a search party to identify the order of finish after him.

    A-7:52: It would be wrong to equate my belief in the possibility of Juliet finishing ahead of Erik at this contest as a slap against Erik. Erik is ranked higher and rightfully so, and when it comes to Jalapeno Peppers, there are only a handful of people in the world better than him.

    Erik also seems to be one of the most honest, clean eaters. I have much respect for Erik the Red. For anyone to insinuate that I believe otherwise would be dead wrong.

    At worst, I’ll admit I am a bit biased toward Juliet because she’s a woman. But I’m a fan, so why not? There are only three in the IFOCE Top 50.

    You’ll have to do better than isolating one pic to prove a point. Anyone who takes the time to wade through the myriad of pics posted on the Net can expect to find a few pics of each and every competitive eater engaging in seemingly sloppy eating from time to time. Frequency and preponderance of sloppiness needs to be factored in. In that regard you’ve actually proven my point with that one pic.

    all i have to say is that this site is corrupt and full of favortism. Once a year OJ rifkin might throw a bone at Lerman & Seiken and plug their latest ventures aside from that its all about Man vs food $100 burger contests in Bismark North Dakota and other no name eaters that we never heard of like the great moomsi . Maybe you can sucker your loyal fans into believing that i am my own worst enemy but you cant fool me Maybe next time you surf through the eatfeats archives you should concentrate on patterns . Im referring to the month and date in which you made the decision to boycott plugging my updates. I think you made that decision long before June 28th 2010. Lets try Jan 2009 for starters. When AOL dropped all subcribers to hometown which was the foundation of which i constructed my website, i went on hiatus for a month or so searching for a new webmaster. When i resurfaced in Jan 2009 with the exception of a mention here and there, my updates for the most part were non existent on your blog. If you dont believe me do some month by month research from Jan 2009 to the present and youll understand what im talking about. Have a nice day

    To Beautiful Brian, even if OJ did post links to your website frequently, there is no guarantee that people would flock to it. It is all about content and what appeals. I think his point was to show that he doesn’t show favoritism, that he covers lots of competitive eating news. No one including me likes to read meltdowns and people making threats and changing their minds and showing their dark side. Your frustrations come through but do not put you in the best possible light and do not encourage some people to go to your website.

    I never expected anyone to flock to it just because he posts links. Its called courtesy. As far as content and appeal i beg to differ i think the new design on my site since jan 2009 opposed to the old layout with aol hometown has a better look and a hell of alot more content thn before. There was more ‘crap” on my old site and he had no problem with it back then. As far as meltdowns and making threats you must be referring to my blog. If thats the case i dont believe in censorship unless it becomes totally distasteful orsomeones life is in jeopardy.
