    How does that even compare to Seiken video? . Maybe Stonie should worry about eating and leave the videotaping to someone else. If you notice most of the time the camera is focused on just Stonie. Seiken video includes everyone . I guess we should cut him some slack hes only 15

    That is totally wrong ok. I think he is an excellent example of greatness in the sport but some of you seem to think im this guy Seiken fan which i am not. Whoever it is he has my back which is more than i can say for some of the ranked eaters in MLE. . Matter fact some of you will bet the ranch that i am Seiken fan and it just aint so. Like Conti stated about the hot dog on the floor in NC, ill be willing to take a polygraph just to shut everyone of you up.

Larell wont deal with the negative bullshit because she was brought up to respect the positive people and not the haters that flock here on a consistant basis.     Pay no attention to any detractor and stay hungry.

    Oh, and watch your weight. You can get away with a lot more now than you’ll be able to in 5 years. And when you get close to my age you’ll gain weight just by looking at food (unless you have the metabolism of a Juliet or Sonya).

    I agree LM. Both BB’s and Matt’s videos pan the table, as you say, to ensure that all eaters are included. The easier thing to do would have simply focused on the middle of the table, but they did the extra work.

    Though I don’t say it often, because he’s been in the biz for so long and I don’t want to beat a dead horse with kudo after kudo, but BB.com is always my first stop when I need different, behind-the-scene news and perspective on things.

    This site is great for news, but BB takes time to dig deeper and I like to see what his spin is, even when I disagree.

    Most of you talk about how Juliet stole this and Juliet stole that. Even with all the deductions she still comes out ahead of the game because her capacity is still greater than many of the eaters ranked below her. Come up with some estimated figures as to how much debris should be deducted from her totals . If she credits herself with 27 how many did she actually eat after the debris is accounted for ?

    Now for something positive. I just came across this article. For all those eaters who wear on their sleave how tough they had in their youth, it was inspiring to hear Sonya’s story. I’m just so amazed she finally is talking about it, never having brought it up after all these years eating and countless interviews on the circuit:

    “I was born in 1967, and it was a hard time for Korea, and my family was very poor. My parents, 2 brothers, my sister, and I lived in a 1 room house. Not a lot of people could afford to eat white rice, so they would mix their rice with barley. But our family’s rice was all barley! The American government also gave us flour…so we had noodles everyday.

    I had to be brave, more brave then than now. My first day of elementary school, I walked there by myself, and registered myself. After that, I always tried to help my parents earn money. I remember one time, I was 8 or 9, and we went to the ocean to catch clams. I kept pushing myself to work faster and faster, and I dug up more than my mom! About 40 pounds of clams! Afterwards, as we opened the shells, I was the fastest. I was the third child, but I was the boss! [Laughs]”
