If Boone or I were to get into these contests, would Hangman be allowed to judge? (By the ifoce)
Happy Mothers Day to all you Mother F’rs!

If Boone, Gentleman Joe, Joey Chestnut, Super Paul or anyone else gets in this contest; I’ll still be the Judge. And as the Judge I’ll pull no punches by being fair to anyone and everyone. This is not an IFOCE contest and with a 2,000 prize pot, it pays better than some contests.

This is not an IFOCE or an AICE contest. I’m a Judge period. I might do an exhibition eating contest but that is all.
I was chosen because I am a celebrity.

If I can figure out how to get in I will. It’s like getting 1000 bucks for free!

You’re a ‘celebrity’ according to who? They probably should have chosen the great Beautiful Brian instead because he is a great motivator and has at least won somthing in his career besides a self made, bogus championship belt.
Will this judging role be a tag team with Mrs. Hangman?

Butiful Brian is a cleverly devised marketing scheme that the Shea’s came up with several years ago.He even admits to this day that George Shea named him butiful They fund his website and use him to sell the controversy. I will assume that he shook hands on this litle venture some years ago. If it is not true let him speak now or forever hold his pickle

If the hangman does an expo there better be a judge on him because he abuses and cheats by dunking food for too long. He’s the biggest cheater on the circuit

We received some e-mails and phone calls from some friends here who heard about the damage to our area from the multiple tornadoes on Sunday.
To report our home is still standing. The weather service reported sustained winds of 70 MPH with gusts topping the 100 mark. One of the tornadoes came overhead but did not touchdown on us. Nearby an EMS Fire Station was damaged severly while a health and community center along with a boat yard was destroyed. There were homes damaged and destroyed as the tornadoes skipped from area to area. One area on the island is still closed this morning. Schools are closed because some are being used for shelters. There are many injuries including broken bones, cuts and such; but no deaths in our area.
Overall we are fine and well. Thank you for all who contacted us with your concerns. The clean up begins this morning and the two contests this Saturday will go on as scheduled.

Hangman I think you will see Joe, Dale, and Bubba. If GJoe is there, that’s where my money is, assuming no really good eaters show up.
I’m kidding, I’m kidding. I just want to get a rise out of Joe early on a Monday morning. 🙂

Rhonda, I bet you can get a rise out of me morning, noon & night.
While I would welcome the opportunity to compete against Bubba, isn’t he in the ifoce??
The way this contest appears to be set up, even if Boone is in the states, it is doubtful he will get in, never mind lil ole me. (workin on my southern, just in case)

Joe, as few chances as many IFOCE eaters have to enter any contest where they can pick up a little dough, I would expect such eaters would welcome events such as this with open arms. This contest doesn’t appear to be AICE-sponsored, so I doubt the IFOCE would say much at all. Even if they did, so what? It’s not a exactly a blow from which eaters will not recover.
On another note, Joe, if you were Gold Medal flour, I doubt you would be of the self-rising variety. 🙂

The ifoce wouldn’t saying anything at all?!?
Didn’t they ban challenges??
Never mind other contests.
I understand they probably don’t care very much about the table enders, but it is alot easier to make examples of them than the elite.
Its not like this is some anonymous contest, Hangman will be there and has likely sought permission or is attributing this to his wrestling celebrity.
Though, it is almost always easier to ask for forgiveness afterwards than to seek permission before.
BTW, Congrats Mark “Human Vacum” Lyle on Brownies… and that other thing.

I’ve been trying to call in all day to get in.
If Joe gets in I’ll assume he’s the Favorite but Dale you must have a short memory I’ve already spanked you at peppers and spent that 500 bucks. I’ve proven my speed is better than yours and Joe has done the same. I personally would like to go toe to toe with Joe because I do consider him top tier in the speed category. I do think that in a true speed eating situation is where my skills are best put to use.

Today, Monday May 12 the first contestants can register sometime between 3 and 7 PM EST
It was determined at our meeting today that the hot dog contest will be at 11 AM and the pasta will be at 1 PM. We are in talks about having a chicken nugget eating contest in the summertime. No date has been set for that one yet.
As a twist, I decided to hold the pasta contest as a hands free contest. So with your hands behind your back you need to eat one pound of pasta with sauce faster than anyone else to win 1,000. Swim goggles are optional.

The top three of each contest is as follows.
Hot Dogs (5 Minutes)
1ST — Sam “I Am The Man” Brown from Brunswick, GA won $1,000 cash
2ND — Aaron “Eat Em Up” Ramsey from Brunswick, GA
3RD — “Queen” Candy Coker from Saint Simons Island, GA
Pasta (First to eat one pound)
1ST — Josh “Crash” Dean from Waycross, GA won $1,000 cash
2ND — Jim “Cool J” Bryant from Brunswick, GA
3RD — Joseph “Mouth Of The South” Herndon from Brunswick, GA
For those that asked, I was the Judge. Not an eater. The pasta contest was almost a three way tie with first and second place decided by one piece of spaghetti.
Congratulations to all who entered.
