The ESPN schedule for July 4 is out. The men’s Nathan’s contest will be televised live on ESPN2 at noon. The women’s contest is not listed, but will probably be streaming only since ESPN2 will be showing First Take from 10am to noon and ESPN will broadcast Wimbledon.

How can Radim eat a 10+ pound pizza challenge, but still can’t crack 30 hotdogs? Way underperforming his potential based on his capacity.

@847pm– terrible analogy. It’s more like wondering why an NFL linebacker that squats 315 for 20 reps can’t also run a 4.8 second 40-yard dash. Most NFL linebackers can do both.
Most competitive eaters than can house 10 pounds of pizza in under 30 mins should be able to eat 30 hot dogs in 10 minutes. Especially Radim, as he’s done more than a handful of pro contests now. My point stands–he in underperforming at hot dogs compared to where he could be

Some people just underperform at certain foods. Joey in sweets, Geoff in hot dogs, Bob in most things that aren’t pure capacity etc

@10:27 He has awful hot dog technique. Idk what he does in his practice runs, but he clearly isn’t addressing his weak points, just wasting a bunch of hot dogs.

I believe tomorrow will mark one year since Joey and the world learned that he would not be competing at Nathan’s. It sure doesn’t sound as if he will be competing this year either.
