CBS New York reports that Mike "The Real Skinny" Hoffman won today's pickle eating contest held at the Carnegie Deli in Manhattan. update Gothamist reports Hoffman ate 1.8 pounds of pickles. update May 19 The NY Daily News has the rest of the top 3: Francis Arpaia (1.35 lb.), Brenda Mathis (1.19 lb., was not aware of contest and came to the deli for breakfast)

    Ha! The real pickle champs from yesteryear Lipsitz Jarvis & Seiken didnt bother showing which shows how little attention this contest has received over the past few 7yrs
