Humble Bob and Matt couldn’t beat him last year. I’m doubtful if Miki and Bob can do it this year.

In addition, the UK is really strict on letting people in with criminal records. It depends if they check or not. I know many Americans have been denied entry into Canada, for example, because of DUI’s that took place in the 60’s or 70’s. From what I know, the UK is similar.

“after that fiasco at West palm beach Shoudt is not competing anymore”

What happened at West Palm Beach?

Also, the monikers “Humble Bob” and “The Notorious B.O.B.” (modeled after “The Notorious B.I.G.”, a well-respected rapper who led a gangsta lifestyle) seem to be contradictory. The former speaks to meekness and humility, while the latter speaks to arrogance and narcissism. What gives? Maybe he is another esophoschentus mired in contradiction, as is Eater X, whose image belies his true self.

Probably because LA bitch jumping out of a plane has nothing to do with competitive eating. I still love the video where Seiken is shirtless showing off his man boobs.http://youtu.be/o3voGU0iF1U

That Colin guy would royally whip Chestnut’s ass in this event. Stonie is as fast as we have in three minutes, cept for Kobayashi.

Lol Gourmand have you ever been out of the United States? Lol I would love to hear a true story about a person not being allowed into a country because of a DWI from over 50 years ago. I have been through customs in Ireland, Scotland, and England along with Belgium and a few other places, and my “history” is worse than 95% of the people that use this site. I have never once had any issue or heard of anybody else that had issues due to previous law problems. The only thing they care about is that you aren’t there to work and take their jobs and money.

I agree with you Randy. Furthermore, most any country will let terrorists in. Just research news of the last two decades.

Martha Stewart, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Harrison Ford, Snoop Dogg, Miley Cyrus have all been denied entry into the UK:

    And even regular citizens:

    and:

    https://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/forums/responsible-travel/topics/us-citizen-detained-and-denied-entry-into-the-uk

“As an American citizen, the UK border control in my experience has been the toughest and most paranoid. I’ve been to countries such as Cuba, Iraq, Lebanon, and Egypt and they were nothing compared to the UK. I’ve been there three times and each time have had every passport stamp scrutinized and plethora of questions related to my finances. My last trip, I simply needed to stay in the UK one night to catch my next flight the next morning. I just arrived from Poland. Nevertheless I was interrogated for an hour. They recorded my cell phone number, made photocopies of my ATM card and driver’s license. They repeated asked me questions on my finance, bank account statements, and retirement account statements. All that just for a single night stay in the airport! I have never done anything wrong in my life and never had any run-ins with the law. The fact they treat me like a terrorist, because I was a foreigner was ridiculous.”

However, most of the enforcement does seem to be against celebrities. And it seems that regular citizens should not have trouble getting in:

    http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g186216-i15-k2383949-o10-Visiting_The_UK_With_Old_Criminal_Record-United_Kingdom.html

“Unlike Canada and the US, most of the world doesn’t worry if you have a criminal record UNLESS you are applying for a residency visa or are called Osama Bin Laden.

The problem with Canucks & ‘Mericans is that each side has access to the other’s records and so can check if you have committed a “crime of moral turpitude” like spitting on the the sidewalk. And I suspect that there is a large amount of “tit for tat” – you refuse me entry, I refuse you entry.

As for the one who suggested that you committed sexual offences, the thing to have done is IMMEDIATELY call for their supervisor.

So for visiting the UK, you don’t have to worry about being denied entry – UNLESS your passport has a big mark in it with “denied entry” where you will probably have to explain it.

I suggest a word with the folk on the Flyertalk forums for the best advice for the Canada / US border thing”

So I think it should be ok for Miki. However, I am not sure if she would have to declare anything about a criminal record officially upon entry.
