Did Jerome play his trumpet after? I wonder when he will leave his parents basement? At least Jaw, who missed his cut fame, lives on his own. Where was GOAT? Where was William Lying? What about all the rest of the famous eaters like Morse eats? What about manlet Old Man eats? Where was MOH? Is he still in prison? Bandana Barfs?

Who cares if Jerome plays a trumpet? Does it bother you? Why don’t you just let him do his thing…
He ate 23 hotdog at his first qualifier, which is a respectable amount. Give the dude a break.

Anonymous said

Esper says he’s thinking about retiring from eating every single year when Nathan’s comes around. I don’t think he’ll stop (with MLE, at least) until he regularly finishes out of the top 3 in contests he does.

10:23 – I note how you don’t address living with his parents in the basement. Too funny. Probably Jerome himself. 23 sucks btw. He needs to eat 20lbs more of cabbage. Another delusional continues in action.

Why is the word delusional overused so much on this site? Almost as if a new word was learned and they’re making up for lost years of not using it. Is every person who plays golf on the weekend delusional because they won’t play in the PGA? How about the amateur guy driving his car down the drag strip? Delusional also? Maybe we should toss out our chess sets because we won’t be as good as Bobby Fisher was. Can’t people do things for fun anymore? If these up and coming eaters become successful then that’s great. You need new eaters because once Esper, Molly, and James retire you won’t have anyone to bitch at.
Anonymous said
May 12, 2025 @ 1:35 pm
12:00 – You obviously don’t get it. Do you find a weekend golfer out there advertising how great they are on social media? And, pushing for likes and views and subs? NO. Your examples just demonstrate you have no idea what is meant by using the term delusional. Same thing with the totally stupid chess example. Same thing. No one does this crap for “fun” by making themselves sick by binge eating and then barfing. SOOOO FUN! And, NONE of the delusionals are “up and coming eaters” NONE. Name one. Well, maybe Jack if he actually improves and checks his ego and puts it on the line at a Nathan’s qualifier. A eating delusional is mentally whacked by pissing away hours of time and money, barfing and feeling like crap, compromising their health, has eating issues/disorders and possibly mental issues, begging for people’s responses and attention, and advertising on social media in a totally saturated market. ALL FOR FUN! James is just starting his career. You don’t mention Joey. He’s not close to done. Neither is Molly or Esper. You must be one of the delusionals btw.
Anonymous said
May 12, 2025 @ 3:14 pm
1:35 – You are either trolling or projecting. First, barfing is not required to be a competitve eater. Second, weekend golfers and chess players definitely post on social media too. If food challenges and competitve eating makes you miserable then fine, but we are not all the same. Some people just love to eat.

@ 135
You probably are a delusional and maybe just don’t know it. Here’s some guidelines of a delusional in case you didn’t know. Note, these rules do not apply to people with established social media (Randy, Katina, Joel, Beard, etc)
1) You have created merchandise for your social media/channel and wear it.
2) You push said merch on your social media.
3) You constantly link your posted videos in various forums and comments of social media.
4) You post “food tour” announcements.
5) You post go fund me’s and other various forms of panhandling to fund your travel/”hobby”.
6) You purchase promotion, subs, followers, etc in the hopes your channel goes viral.
7) You have over 50 videos posted and your average views are under 100K per video.
8) You have invested money into expensive equipment (camera, microphone, etc).
There are very few people who do this for “fun”. A good majority of the people have bad eating disorders and are using social media as an excuse to continue to binge, as if it’s their “job”. When in reality, 99.9% of these people are making little to no return on social media. Why else post on social media like a mad man unless you have hopes of becoming famous and rich. I.e., delusion. Hence the term delusional. The even funnier variation of the delusional are the people doing food challenges on a huge frequency and recording, but never posting edited videos (Radim, Jack Legath, Sean Yeager, etc).

Since the term delusional is now brought up its time for the list! In no particular order:
1. Lifting Weights Cleaning Plates (will do dish washing – aka cleaning plates)
2. Titanium Jaw (self proclaimed trainer. Never made it to his final cut and decided to do another terrible Nathans qualifier attempt)
3. Franco Feasts (has anger issues maybe when questioning his delusions?)
4. Nathan Klein (Dude has spent way more money than he’s earned traveling across the country. But hey, he got to see his favorite football team!)
5. Lyon Around (might be pulled soon as he left eating for awhile. Maybe his wife said enough of this sheet dude?)
6. Jerome Burns (Need trumpet lessons will travel)
7. Charlie and the Chew Crew (the guy that wears a huge winter hat inside his house)
8. Josh the Goat (I actually like when Josh completes a challenge with the Mario Cart type of sound bite)
9. Kyle Can Eat (one of the newer guys. Calls a 5lb challenge “massive” and takes 30 minutes)
10. Gastric Gladiator (should be “gonna have a heart attack before 40 years old)
11. Jack Legath (enough has been said about the next Joey Chestnut)
12. A Guy Named Eli (stooopid Youtube name btw).
13. Morse Eats (Needs to do more made up restaurant challenges)
14. Dom Mandato

And then we have the guy who spends part of his day actually writing a whole page about the other people lol. From an outsider perspective, it seems you are a little obsessive keeping tabs and giving your very very important thoughts since I imagine no one else in your life cares. also reminds me of kids when learn they learn a brand new word and begin repeating it constantly. You may want to touch some grass or find a partner because I’m starting to worry you are a bit lonely…

11:17 – Why do people always think someone who posts like what is in the list above is somehow “disgruntled”, “lonely”, “has no life”, “Needs to get a job”, “Has no money”, or is “unhappy”. It truly is like watching a side show of weirdos, and misfits. And, yes, most here on this site have mental/eating disorders. But of course use challenges, etc. as an excuse for their eating disorders and won’t admit they do. Hilarious to watch. And, new ones added to watch makes it even funnier! Very entertaining. What’s normal about the “eating disorder” eating world and why do people watch it on YouTube? And eaters actually grifting for donations and people sending money and “sponsoring binge eating”. Hilarious to watch.

5:12 – So what is your disorder that keeps you glued to watching their channels? I’d be willing to bet you spend as much time watching, hating, and commenting on this site as they do making the content itself. I’d also guess that the majority of those you laugh at don’t even bother hopping on to this toxic site to read those hateful comments.

Anonymous said
May 21, 2025 @ 11:59 am
8:28 – Well for someone that wants to hate on these so call delusionals you sure seem to be following all of them quite closely… You say:
1. Lifting Weights Cleaning Plates (will do dish washing – aka cleaning plates) – UK eaters are in their own clique. Hard to judge from here in the US.
2. Titanium Jaw (self proclaimed trainer. Never made it to his final cut and decided to do another terrible Nathans qualifier attempt) – He came in 3rd, that’s a good outing in any form of competition.
3. Franco Feasts (has anger issues maybe when questioning his delusions?) – UK eaters are in their own clique. Hard to judge from here in the US.
4. Nathan Klein (Dude has spent way more money than he’s earned traveling across the country. But hey, he got to see his favorite football team!) – He has won a challenge in every state and is a very successful engineer. I’m sure he doesn’t care about the money he’s spent completing his challenges.
5. Lyon Around (might be pulled soon as he left eating for awhile. Maybe his wife said enough of this sheet dude?) – Hasn’t posted in over 4 months. Guessing he’s out of the game so no point in bashing.
6. Jerome Burns (Need trumpet lessons will travel) – You’re upset because this guy plays an instrument? He had a really impressive outing at his first ever qualifier and showed he has talent. Then people want to bash him for posting about eating veggies and low calorie foods, but that is how you train without getting fat.
7. Charlie and the Chew Crew (the guy that wears a huge winter hat inside his house) – Most people have a “trademark” look. Beard has his beard, Randy has his teddy bear, etc.. Guessing you’re bashing his image because you really can’t say anything negative about his abilities. Also, he’s been around longer than most realize in competitive eating. He just recently started videos.
8. Josh the Goat (I actually like when Josh completes a challenge with the Mario Cart type of sound bite) – Not sure if you’re being sarcastic here or not, but he has quite a large following, plus a long tenure. He’s earned his place.
9. Kyle Can Eat (one of the newer guys. Calls a 5lb challenge “massive” and takes 30 minutes) – Using the word “massive” is most likely for clicks/attention which every creator does. He’s shown he can handle 6-7 pound challenges, proving he has some talent. You also can’t deny that he’s growing faster than most on this list.
10. Gastric Gladiator (should be “gonna have a heart attack before 40 years old). – Again, you’re bashing someone on something other than their eating abilities. You can’t deny that he’s racked up a lot of wins and had some impressive times. You I’m sure are very quick to suggest puking on the skinny eaters, but yet also bash the heavier eaters? Pick one…
11. Jack Legath (enough has been said about the next Joey Chestnut) – Yep, this guy is pretty arrogant and loves himself clearly. That personality definitely is seen in his content, but he’s earned a bit of cockiness with his impressive wins. Would like to see him compete against other pros in contest form to showcase his real talents.
12. A Guy Named Eli (stooopid Youtube name btw). Same mentioned above… You’re bashing someone on things that have nothing to do with their eating abilities. Just trolling some more. Also averages more video views than anyone else on this list.
13. Morse Eats (Needs to do more made up restaurant challenges) – Creating your own challenges isn’t unheard of. Look at mukbang creators that never do restaurant challenges.. That doesn’t take away from their eating abilities.
14. Dom Mandato – You literally can’t even come up with anything negative to say here. And from what I’ve researched, he’s more into contest eating that challenges. So are you putting up better numbers than him? If so, I don’t think you can sit here and call him delusional about anything..

3) You constantly link your posted videos in various forums and comments of social media.
4) You post “food tour” announcements.
5) You post go fund me’s and other various forms of panhandling to fund your travel/”hobby”.

11:59 – You have no clue what a good following is. . You must be one of the delusionals yourself? The majority on this list with the exception of a few suck as eaters. Not sure what you think a “good eater” is exactly? Someone who can down a 5lb burrito in 45 min? Hardly.

10:53 – Delusionals don’t go anywhere with eating ability. No one except weirdos care about some boring no energy person eating a 5lb burrito. Actually the numbers show yet again the market is saturated and no one is going anywhere with their delusion of being the next Beard. What is a greater eating journey exactly? You must be a delusional.

9:49 – BFD “A million views” Where exactly do you think Max is going? Nowhere fast regardless. In fact, not only is the market saturated but he’s up directly against Beard who is from his country. Super saturated. Ship has sailed. Delusions of grandeur. No one cares about how anyone started. Some of us around here actually can critically think. Let’s see. Both Beard and Max put out videos about 5 days ago. Beard: 3M views. Max: 44,000 views. That’s not like 10x the views. It’s a MASSIVE 71X the views for Beard versus Max. Where exactly do you delusionals think Max can go in the market. You see, there are entities called consumers who only have a certain amount of time, money, etc. to use daily/weekly/etc. They have to make consumption choices daily. Once they are made, that’s it. These delusionals are bringing NOTHING NEW to the market to enable pulling market share from the current leaders. NOTHING. Zip. In fact a lot of these people are trying to COPY Beard in how he does his videos. Wrong move.
Anonymous said
May 23, 2025 @ 9:09 pm
3:53 Clout aside, Max is objectively a better eater than Beard and he didn’t start off with any eating ability, he pushed himself to adapt and improve. Nothing new for the YouTube market, but he’s a way better competitor to have at a competitive eating event than most wannabe vloggers.
