Don Moses Lerman name should be mentioned whenever a matzah ball contest takes place no matter what city or state . There should be a huge poster hanging over the rafters of moses holding the tablets

Alright! Don has seconded the motion.

Now, all in favor of invoking Don “Moses” Lerman’s name whenever a matzah ball contest takes place no matter what city or state, say “Aye.”

I know all of this is said in jest, but lets face it I as Matzo Ball Champ back in 2000 decided to cross over to the Nathans hot dogs , until then the hot dog eaters stayed in their neck of the woods and the Matzo ball people stayed with the Matzo balls I changed all that and started the sport of Competitive eating , I was the first eater to go out of state for a contest, I developed the water technique to stretch the stomach for more capacity and strengthen the cardiac sphinx muscle, I pioneered dthe Philly wing bowl for future Ifoce eaters , the Jalapenos ,stated the challenges at restaurants along with Ed jarvis and kevin Liositz at place such as J&R steak house Denny’s Beer barrel ,Pinatas, and started that ball rolling , and for my efforts I’m made out to be nothing in this sport , How sad, But I’ll say in closing That AL Gore not Me started the internet .Don Lerman .

don what more do you want from the sheas? They featured you in four tv specials gutbusters, big eats, airline and eats of strength. They honored you at the Nathans finals two years ago. You could not ask for more and you still feel slighted ? . Your baked bean record of 6lbs in 1:46 still stands. I fail to see the logic in this

I may over be reaching here but maybe any bad feelings are about comments from anonymous folks that enjoy poking some of the eaters like Don or BB as being nobodies.
