Is Juliet Lee a member of IFOCE or a member of AICE. I thought you could eat for one or the other. Not both.

WHY DONT THEY ADDRESS THE ISSUE ABOUT HOW SOME EATERS THAT ARE OUT OF THE MONEY INFLATE THEIR TOTALS JUST SO THEY COULD SAY THEY FINISHED AHEAD OF SOME OTHER EATER THEY DESPISE. JUDGING IN THE MEATBALL CONTEST STUNK. CASE IN POINT 2004 MEATBALLS 1 WHERE AN UNNAMED EATER WAS SPOTTED TOSSING SOME OF HIS MEATBALLS FROM THE 6LB TRAY TO THE NEARBY 2LB TRAY ANYONE CAN GRAB A FEW MEATBALLS WHILE SHEA’S BACK IS TURNED AND TOSS THEM ON THE FLOOR OR UNDER THE TABLE. SOME OF THESE MIDRANKED EATERS THAT FINISH OUT OF THE MONEY SHOULD STOP WORRYING ABOUT FINISHING AHEAD OF SOMEONE ELSE THAT IS OUT OF THE MONEY AND CONCENTRATE ON WINNING TITLES . GET A DAMN LIFE

Sonya Thomas deserves a 6 month suspension for the embarassing display she made at the Meatball Eating Championships. She is usually a class act, but was a horrible sport and should be ashamed of herself for not shaking humble bob’s hand. It is not his fault that she was penalized, and by not shaking his hand she stole some of his deserved spotlight!

Juliet Lee possibly defecting to AICE?
interesting if they turned themselves into a complete ‘Bizzarro IFOCE’
They can squeeze her in between “Eater Y” and “Crazy Arms Spumoni”
yup, good times….

If she is participating in the AICE event then that’s her choice. She has probably not signed with the IFOCE so she can do whatever she wants. And with her being very new to the scene she might not know about or care about the backstory. Someone should make it clear to her that if she does take part in an AICE event then she will not be doing IFOCE events again.

Juliet will NOT participate in this (or any AICE) event. She recently signed with the IFOCE. She in the process of withdrawing from the AICE event as we speak. She had expressed interest in participating in the other contest before she was invited to join the IFOCE. She was as surprised as anyone when they posted her expected participation. Nothing more than an honest logistical screw-up. No drama – we’ve all had enough of that this weekend.

Sonya shouldn’t be suspended. This sports needs a little drama now and then to keep it interesting, not just for the eaters and the loyalists on this blog, but for the casual fans in attendance that day.
It’s like any sport, if everyone was happy and shook hands and smiled for the cameras even after they felt like they were ripped off, it would be pretty boring. I’m not saying what she did was right…but it sure was fun to watch! And so will Bob and Sonya’s next meeting!

By the way, good to see FULL RESULTS AND WEIGHTS. More of that in the future, I hope. Now the powers that be just need to work on getting them posted on the website less than 2 full days after an event.

Referring to the IFOCE.com website, not EatFeats.
OK, I’m done.

There is another video taken by a fan at the meatball contest that has a clear shot of an eater putting meatballs under the table as time ran out…developing story.
