Rick “The Manager” Russo is listed on IMDB for the movie Nacho Mountain. This is the same Rick Russo listed on IMDB for Viva La Bam from MTV. Rick The Manager was known as Rick The Driver on Viva La Bam. Man this guy gets around!

It looks like they’re keeping Mount Nacheesmo around as a challenge(T-Shirt, Picture on a wall, and it’s free if you finish.)

Have to disagree Rhonda. I think this will be a good one. Sorta like “Super Troopers” for competitive eaters.
Then again I could be wrong. But this movie has been doe for a couple years…. Cant wait anymore.

ifoce eaters weren’t allowed to be in it, many wanted but thanks to the contract they were told no. my understanding is the movie isn’t even going to be shown anywhere, just available for purchase or viewing online, no distribution. no one will ever see it. there will be some funny moments but super troopers is an oscar winner compared to this. it wasn’t low budget, it was no budget and no acting talent necessary.

Just to clear some stuff up: I’m the writer and Director of Nacho Mountain. This movie was made to honor all food eating competitors as well as show the great comedy involved in the sport. At one point we had Chestnut, Pat form Manoochie, Humble Bob, Deep Dish Bert, Mailman, and Downtown all in it, but we were forced to not use them by the contractual agreements they are in.

In the wingbowl 08 backstage footage, you will see all of them in the extra features documentary.

It’s worldwide premier is Dec 18th and 19th at The Grand Theater in East Greenville, PA. We have had some offers already for distribution and from Comedy Central.

All in all, I hope you enjoy the film, alot of people busted their ass making it and it shows, trust me when I say it is not some piece of shit project. and it will be available for purchase on dvd shortly. EAT YOUR FACE OFF!

    Dear Director,

I have been watching the trailer for this far a LONG time. I know one of the guys in the movie. I’ve done a few “food bets” myself (3 RAW 16oz. steaks, and 72 packets of “Fire sauce” from taco bell, and eat 3 whole chicken wings [bones and and all]). And its looks like a great movie, especially for a competitive eater.
I’ll be one of the first to buy a DVD ASAP.

about time a food eating movie was made. i really wouldn’t expect the subject matter to be made into a hollywood movie anytime soon (if ever), so hats off to whoever made it. Hey director, don’t listen to the haters. the only thing jealous fat people can do is blog. looking forward to the premier and wish you lots of luck with this thing.

Here’s my question Brian: Since you have all these fans and supporters, not to mention scores of admirers flocking to your web site for whatever reason, why so much fuss about the little players in the CE web site game like OJ’s eatfeats? Given your hoards of fans from all over the globe surely you can let OJ have a moment in the sun every now and then without making such a big thing out of it, unless you are too arrogant, but I suspect the opposite is true.

You act like a complete jerk Brian. You talk about promoting camraderie in the IFOCE, yet you pick a thread dedicated to the most family-oriented day of the year to voice your displeasure about a personal issue, again selfishly trying to divert the focus of this thread to your own personal agenda. Your character is quite the antithesis of what camraderie in the IFOCE should be about. All you do is breed hate and contempt in trying to pull others down to your subterranean level.

It’s really ironic that of all the people affiliated with competitive eating, the very one who needs friends the most is the most unfriendly. While you do seem amicable early on in a relationship, the first moment things don’t go your way you blast the would be friends, who then see you for what you are and split. May you read and absorb what I’m saying here and do some reflecting this holiday season.

I highly anticipate watching and reviewing this movie, but I am severely disappointed already that the world’s greatest eaters were forbidden participation – a PR mistake on MLE’s part.
