New poll: grotesque eating contests
A midwestern theme park has received a lot of publicity recently for having a cockroach eating contest. I am not going to name the park or provide a link to the article because I think that grotesque eating contests, which are a segment in the show “Fear Factor”, makes competitive eating look like a circus side show and I do not want to see a “race to the bottom” in which contests keep offering more and more repulsive items. The new poll asks if you share that opinion.

my mothers cooking was always a fear factor the only one who was a worse cook was her mother . i saved some of her recipes and I bet that if her food was in a contest , no one would have big numbers

OJ I agree with your opinion also. I also don’t want to see ethnic delicacies in a contest if they are only their because of the gross factor either i.e. Blood pudding, Haggas etc.

The cicadas I ate, tasted much better than a good chunk of the mainstream foods i’ve eaten in contests. I really only did it to have an answer to question #5 usually asked by reporters… that & because the feds had a contest @ the same place a few months before. What’s the strangest/most disgusting food you’ve ever eaten?? I’m sure those of you who’ve been interviewed, more than once, know what i’m talking about.
