    I predict this thread will get tons of hits. Might break all records in that category. If some of these eaters were in their prime it might be alot more interesting . Lerman is nothing near what he used to be. Menchetti would bury him. Same for Shirota vs Kobe . Koch and Boone cant seem to get together in resolving sprint vs marathon. The gal is more concerned with smiling and hair and nails looking perfect which spells sonya kicking her butt. Seiken Chapman will lead to nothing more than mudslinging and filthy comments . OJ should keep an eye on this thread for vulgarity

    I totally agree with everything that anonymous (little “a”) just said. I would vote for “Other.” That “Other” being El Wingador in a weighed Wing match with Pat … or Joey … or Sonya … or Chip … or Bob … or Rich.

    And people still don’t understand that The Gal is just a nice, cute, high maintenance female who uses CE to help her get better publicized. (I’m sure Koby would say pretty much the same thing.) She knows, I know, and anyone else knows that she would not even think about a real match against Sonya, unless it was simply out of fun (like between friends) and not real competition.

    Some day I would like to see IFOCE and AICE folks eat together and display genuine respect and sportsmanship towards one another. I don’t expect that to ever happen, however.

    If my memory serves me correct i was involved in 7 contests with Chapman either competing in the same event or separate heats. There was an ifoce cheesecake contest in 2003 where i know i came out ahead of him 28-25 . There was an ifoce cannoli contest in which i believe i came out ahead of him 12-10 . There was a Nathans hot dog contest in 2002 or 2003 civil service in which i think he might have finished ahead of me 12 to 11. In 2003 there were three or four matzah ball heats in which you had to beat the high number. His high was 9 in the first heat and i competed in the second heat and beat it with 9 3/4 .Menchetti beat that number and Booker eventually was the overall high number that night. In 2004 we competed in greenvale matzah balls in separate heats i ate 14 . He either tied it or ate 14 1/2 not sure of that one. He finished ahead of me in pickles in 2004 carnegie contest.. The fact of the matter is who cares? For the sake of stats i thought i would give it a mention Bottom line is i dont want to compete against him today tommorow or anyday.I have no fear, i just dont like him . IFOCE would never sanction it anyway . If he or one of his cronies comes on here talking shit and expects to goat me into a response it wont happen.

    Hagler Leonard fought five years too late in 1987 well past their prime . The fight was scheduled for 1982 . Boone and Lerman should have been a done deal in 2004 when both were in peak form. Cant cry over spilt milk i say make the match now . It wont live up to what it would have been three years ago but its better than nothing. Joey vs wingador is a joke not worth watching . Shredder and Subich is an excellent matchup. In a year or two they should make Juliet Lee vs Sonya Thomas shades of a young Larry Holmes vs an aging Muhammad Ali.Holmes told the ref “How many more times do you want me to hit this guy’? I would hate for Juliet to have to look at the referee and say “My god im so way ahead of her . End it now before it gets ugly” . Just kidding Sonya .

    Sonya was first with 8 lbs 4 oz (original 84 lumber) of BBeans. If you don’t want to challenge that then shut the hell up and feud among yourselves you two has-beens. You two would barf before you ate even 7.5 lbs of baked beans so stop talking shit!

Whenever sonya is the victim of negative comments one of those two will come to her defense. Menchetti is the last one to come to sonya’;s defense regardless of the betting /odds comment and he would never ever use the word sweetie

The giveaway was sweetie and intended “CAPS’ on certain words which Rhonda does use from time to time. The only throwoff would be the fact that women normally never use betting terms in their text .”Ill give you 2-1” unless they are dikes or very masculine wannabe be males. I think after reading this comment many will be privy to watching how they come across in their text unless they deliberatly want to be exposed. . One solution would be to use dale boone type diction which is a great way to throw someone off.

    All I can say is that Sonya seems to have both supporters and pundits coming out of the woodwork-many more of the former, I would suspect and hope.

    The sad part is that her name is on anonymous’ list at all. I can’t picture Sonya using an alias, even though I can’t say I know her well. But I do consider myself a good judge of character. Sonya seems anything but a fake. And I know for sure it’s not Rona. She definitely would not do that. She would defend Sonya but in a more constructive, less hurtful way.

    I guess in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t really matter who it was, except to say that all this is really away from the topic of the thread, so I’m done.

    y does menchetti rate so low as an EATER out here? how many years has it been since he competed against any of the nay sayers?………..years i imagine. doesn’t sound like anyone thinks that he has improved since his glutton bowl days. seems there isnt any room for anyone to improve except ifoce people. no one from the ifoce has competed against hickman either so y is everyone the expert out there. as far as chestnuts speed…….did anyone notice his 10th hotdog going down in at the one minute mark and his 30th going down at 5 mins. on the 4th? he is faster than koby which is saying alot. goose would get beaten 95% of the time by chestnut in sprints. the only reason i give 5% to goose is because chestnut has his problem foods. the guy who doesnt show weakness in anything yet besides koby is that kid with the mohawk. i think he will be the one to beat koby when and if it is done. sorry bk if i misunderstood your stance on the goose/chestnut match up. thousand apologies bro.

    How do I get a 2-1, only behind Rona Conti as a defender of Sonya. In the past i’ve been accused of being her biggest detractor. Frankly, i’m neither. Due to the language barrier (at least when I was around her semi-regularly, i’m sure its improved significantly since then) I never really spoke to her. I have nothing against her. I have something against her “fans” who take anything as a slight against her & the backlash it has caused the other way w/people taking ridiculous swipes @ her.

    I don’t care where I rate as long as I get paid. Though, I am very appreciative & surprised by the recent positive postings re:me.
    If it takes a bunch of losses to get some credit, i’ll take no cred whatsoever, & a few high $$$ wins.

    Now, how do we make this about Lerman?!

    GJoe you get 2-1 odds not for being a Sonya supporter but for someone that is a stickler with stats. You seem to know it all when it comes to certain eaters so therefore if someone were to question you regarding who is a better eater right now Sonya or Juliet , you would pick Sonya and become quite defensive of your pick if anyone dared to admit Juliet is a better eater

    Between Micah, Don, and Dale, right now I think it wouls turn out Dale, Micah, then (much later) Lerman, but because Don has legendary status we have to not use his performance today, but that of yesteryear when he was an above average eater.

    Considering Dale Boone and Lerman are “shot eaters” maybe we can do a computerized eating contest or have toy or animated versions of Lerman & Boone batttling each other when they were in their prime dressed exactly as they were when they won their titles. Sort of like rock em sock em robots.
