    I cannot single out a most important omission under those auspices: current IFOCE top 20.

    If you look at it as a Who’s Who Now Wall, the obvious omissions are Badlands and Bob.

    Frankly, if I were those two and I was offered a spot on the next iteration I would ask to be left off because it means nothing.

    How can you have a true Wall of Fame without Koby (First and Foremost!), Badlands, Cookie, The Godfather, Carlene, and DML.?!

    Look at the size and placements of Joey and Sonya on the new wall. Joey’s on the end and Sonya’s image is perhaps the smallest. You have to look a bit to find both of them.

    A Wall of Fame it is just not! Fame is not fleeting, nor is it size-specific.

    What’s beyond me is how such intelligent people as George and Rich are remiss to attend to such a basic concept.

    Actually, I understand things more than I want them to be true. It’s all about marketing and the wall depicts which eaters are perceived as being the best marketers for CE in the short run.

    As opposed to a Wall of Fame, it’s a combo what have you done for me lately/what will you do for me soon wall.

    Booker and Bob really should be up there, especially if Gravy and J. Lee are. If they are trying to avoid putting the more heavier competitors on the board, I’m sure Erik the Red is a bit peeved Gravy is on there and he isn’t… But then again Gravy has a Luchador mask on so unless you’re an actual competitive eating fan (which is maybe .01% of the general population) you wouldn’t know it was Gravy anyways.

    Mr. Shea, TEAR DOWN THAT WALL! Actually it’s just an advertisement for the event, and with all the press and attention it’s gotten I think it has accomplished its mission. What we shouldn’t do is carry any ill will to those who get on it. They have no say in who gets on the billboard just like those eaters who don’t make the billboard.

    THIS IS THE REASON WHY BOB SHOUDT has not been included in the wall, even though he deserves to be,his record speaks for itself…..BASICALLY IF YOU DONT HAVE THAT “STAND OUT LOOK” AND PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE SO THAT PEOPLE WILL WANT TO GO SEE AN IFOCE EVENT, LIKE MAYBE DOING INTERVIEWS etc….you wont be on the wall. EXAMPLE. joey, OF COURSE CUZ HES THE CHAMP, pat, got the mohawk,he looks cool and his phenomenal eating record, eater x, FACE PAINT, sonya, CUZ SHES A WOMAN AND KICKS THE MEN’S ASSES,crazy legs, HIS DREADLOCKS. if gravy is up there, the red should too. BUT BECAUSE HES QUIET and TO HIMSELF, doesnt do something to ” STAND OUT”, hes never going to be. I CAN GUARANTEE YOU THAT IF MATT STONIE STARTED DRESSING UP LIKE A CLOWN AND MADE IT TO CONEY ISLAND, HE’LL BE ON THE WALL IN NO TIME.

    Ronny gets my vote too. Looking at the wall now, they really didn’t change much but removed Kobayashi. They gave as much thought to the new wall as to the rankings. Probably just kept everything the same size, moved things around on a computer, easy and cheap instead of a redesign. So what was is except for Koby. He caused them “trouble” and will again. Wouldn’t read too much into it, everyone is the same size they were before, I think. Designer probably chose sizes for visual effect, knows little if anything about rest.

    from a who is on top now Bob should be there. Didnt he do the hotdog showdown before last year’s contest? I think he was ranked 2 last year before those changes and now he is 3 this year with these changes. I think the goofy jewelry is enouh to qualify for the wall on ‘look’ As far as media I think he dos a bunch but you wont read about it on here. Their still isnt one post about his tooth Obviosly OJ is not a big fan Wait maybe OJ picks who goes on the wall lol. from a history I think Eric should be there with Ed for sure. I look at this as a size thing only These guys are to big Bet if Bob or Eric droped wight they would be on the wall next year. Still say that they wall will be redone in 12. Closer to half women, half men and no Bob or Eric.
