Pete , in your one to one video with your lady friend you refer to yourself as celebrity status being the reason as to why Brad called you out in the video . That is incorrect. He sees you as anything but celebrity status. He was basically responding to someone that really had no business ratting him out on eatfeats as to his true identity in the meatball contest. Plain and simple . You evaded the entire point by turning it around making it seem as though you were being glorified. Accept his challenge in a food category of your choice , and if you kick his ass that will be the end of it.

Pete – “competed” is a very generous comment on Brad’s eatting ability that day. Since Brad aparently called you out, why don’t you challenge him to compete against you at your McDonalds challenge. Since he said he ate 20 lbs of hamburger, he shouldn’t have any problem eatting 12 value meals. Or maybe he’s just all talk…

I think Pete and Brad are both wonderful. Brad has a knack for making people feel special and good about themselves, and Pete is like a second mother to a lot of people — nurturing and caring.

Anonymoussss (7:09 PM), you have some really great rivalry proposals, and I agree with virtually all of them, AND in the order you have them listed.

I agree that the Humble Bob and Eater X rivalries to the crown should be listed. I still think Joey/Pat remain the biggest rivals however.
It’s trivial to even list the Steakbellie/Kong rivalry here as it started before and will continue long after the CE phase. Our hatred transends this nonsense. It will be bowling or pumpkin chucking next. Just before all this eating started we drew up plans for who could grow the tallest tree in a 20 year span. Next it will be Wheel chair races or Colostomy bags.
It should also be mentioned that I am winning the eating rivalry, bitches.
I toast you all with a warm PBR……I look for my bed to fall to. God bless Super Paul.

Collard green is only the second competitive eater to kick the bucket. Crawfish Nick was the first but not a household name. When they start dropping like flies and the names are more recognizable , then the ifoce has to worry regardless of whether or not the death was attributed to gluttony over the past 8 yrs

anonymous 1030 if I were in the same room with you, I’d show you a whole new meaning to the word “kick” Did you even bother to think about other people’s feelings here? I guess not. Anyway, what goes around comes around. That’s a fact!

Any opinions on the number of HDB’s needed to qualify this year? I’m thinking 30 something.
Also, Pat from Moonachie, my apologies, Pat vs Ross (but only for best dressed)

Just for the record I had two bad dinners back to back…Just so happens I was @ Bellies for both, but that is neither here nor there.
Does anyone use their name here anymore??? Though I did like the Napoleon Dynamite comment from the Jet Lee movie, at least it showed some originality. If you’re going to be faceless at least be funny
As far as qualifying #, I can’t imagine it being less than 30

With aggressive prechewing most people will probably be able to qualify with only 30.

If Furious Pete jumped over to the Nathan’s and Krystals circuit, with just a lesson or two and some practice in prechewing from Joey and Humble Bob, Pete would be the new hot dog champ because he is days better.
