I hear that Sam Barklay email Seiken a few yrs ago requesting that he refrain from posting twitter comments about foxwood as to why he wasnt invited to the contest and taht goya bf was going to beat him up . The Sheas didn’t want their payday blown by a 50th ranked eater with primitive eating skills. They could care less about the threats against Seiken

speaking of poker did anyone watch that masterful performance by Qui Nguyen at the WSOP the other night? 8 million dollars I would much rather watch a competition of card game skill than watch Chestnut stuff food down his throat which is not even a real skill

Efforts to compete with MLE have had very mixed results. They still do. You need money to make money. And you need skilled staff etc. and good eaters or people who can give interviews. Yes, the money doesn’t get to all the eaters, but they choose to participate. No one is forcing them.

I hear that some years ago the IFOCE inquired about doing a white castle burger circuit but they told IFOCE to take a hike not interested

How sad that 10yrs ago around this time Seiken #1 internet show was killing it in the ratings. Top talent of that era such as Bertoletti, Janus, Lerman Jarvis Booker Boone Hardy and a host of others reserved a spot on his show while others were forced to wait their turn on a waiting list. Even the weaker eaters like the Goldsteins, Krazy Kev &b Conti were not turned out for a guest appearance on his show

Who said anything about sharing gossip? First off get your facts straight. Janus asked to be a guest and Seiken shared his living quarters not the other way around Competitive eating is about as dead right now as online poker was hot back in 2004 . There is no need or incentive to report anything in that stupid so called sport anymore. There are no websites blogs or podcasts that even care to report anything remotely connected to competitive eating, with the exception of FBTS but when those two reach puberty , trust me they will get sick of it like every other normal person in this world .
