Joey will soon be a victim of Bertolephobia: fear of Pat Bertoletti, especially after Pat dispatches him today, which will be twice in one week at one of Joey’s best foods.

The real question for me is who will finish behind Pat and Joey, respectively. I give a slight edge to Chip, but Rich can’t be dismissed. I hope there’s money for fifth place, so that Erik can pick up some funds.

The IFOCE should pay money out to at least 7th or 8th place in each and every contest. That horse is dead, however, because it is been discussed over and over and most everyone agrees it’s the right/smart thing to do.

I heard it was Joey with around 7, Pat with around 6, then Rich who lost a tooth (most likely swallowed it), Erb in 4th and Erik in 5th. Chip was not there.

Rhonda, you’re a real crystal ball. Now shut up until you can be right.

This must be some kind of mistake. Maybe it was rigged. There’s no way Joey ate a full pound more than the second place finisher. Rhonda…I know you’ll support me on this. Especially since it wasn’t a “sandwich type” food. Everyone knows that Joey can only dominate in the Hot Dogs and Krystal type event.

Why don’t both of you anonymous armchair QBs — Wyatt and anony — read my post under the results thread. Anyway, I’ll add to that right here. It is important that the world’s number 1 eater not lose too many contests to eaters ranked below him. Joey really needed this and I’m glad he pulled it out, as it would really be tough for him otherwise.

Koby withstood the pressure as World # 1 for 6 years with but a single loss (and when he was way less than 100 %). Now it’s Joey’s turn. Good luck to him!
