Jamminjoe continues to speak at the table and on eatfeats. Glad to see an eater of this caliber as an independent.

Kind of like a preview to this years Nathans Hot Dog contest in Coney Island. Both divisions: Joey beats everyone, Sonya beats everyone. No need to watch now. AND that’s the rest of the story

Many, many people would like an op to eat against one of the top stars like Pat. I suspect Pat has his share of groupies.

Rhonda says it well again. Lots and lots of good stuff going on this year, changes for the better. Pat is a great eater and colorful character, has lots and lots of fans and has beat Joey. Sonya is the role model and mentor and with new competitors and women’s division, everything is new. It doesn’t matter that Sonya can beat everyone, not unlike Kobayashi when he shocked everyone by eating 50 hotdog and buns and changed the game. Don’t watch if you don’t care or just want to be negative.

It’s all exciting when you’re there. Also… there’s a new kid (Matt Stoney) who came in third behind Joey & Pat in Potatoes and Gyros. He was wild. Look for him to advance. I ate next to him in Houston. There’s always a faster gun.

It is hard enough to find 4 IFOCE people to beat Pat. Now we are going to pick 4 Joes off the street. Maybe they get to add their totals together.

that’s exactly what they are gonna do. Kinda like what Joey did last year with tacos for the pepto promotion. I think Joey was beat 39 to 34…

Nope, we were all competing against pat on an individual basis. It was fun but not really much of a contest for him.
